Re: Lightcarbon LCG071-D Build
Gentlemen, could anyone measure the front/rear clearance with your tyres, please? I wonder how thick I can go. And if there is a room for fenders.

I measure about 65mm between fork and 64mm between stays, so 50mm-ish is probably max (IE 47mm).

Re: Elves Falath EVO 2023 Too bad this frame looks a bit iffy.
I'm interested in the Vanyar Pro they released recently, hope Hambini does a review of that one too.

Re: Elves Falath EVO 2023 At 1300 bucks, out of spec BB and janky headtube layup seems ridiculous to pass off as something you should accept as par for the course for a 'non name brand' in that GC performance vid. Par for the course of a 500 dollar frame? Yea. Par for the course for a non name brand that is well into getting close to name brand price? No.

The paint IS crap because they use vinyl stickers. A lot of these companies are doing that and it is SUPER lame. They need to stop with that if they want to establish a 'Brand lite'  where it is in the middle of 'no name' frames but not a 'name brand.'

Re: Consensus on replica frames ?? I'm kinda on the fence about riding a bare copy frame, but riding around on a fake one with the actual brand name is mega cringe.

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D)

Heres my headset area, no gaps.
The headset is a bit finicky to put together with the hydraulic lines, I'd disassemble and look to make sure the bearing race isn't jammed on the lines.

Re: Why are road bikes more popular than mountain biking?
It's actually other way around where I live - MTBs are far more popular than road bikes, even among people who ride in the city

Similar situation here. There is a MTB trail system on my road and the parking lot is always packed weather permitted. I rarely see other people out cycling on roads, and I live in a 'gravel mecca' (Vermont).

Something that keeps me from getting into MTB is that I'm afraid of injuring myself, it seems prerequisite to have a major crash for MTBers (at least more so than road cyclists) and the trails here are quite technical.

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D) The spacers don interact with how the bottom cup sits on the top bearing. I think the gap is caused by some incorrect assembly or the tube race is doing something funky in there.
