Built it up a couple Summers ago with spare parts as a sub 20lbs flat bar gravel trip bike but hardly rode it, could have passed for new but its gotten some scratches in the paint from being moved around boxed. I ended up with a drop bar mountain bike for I used on my trips and this one never made it out more than a hand full of times. Comes with frame, fork, thread together Wheels DUB BB, headset, axels, post clamp, hanger. ONLY for $250.   I do have a new aluminum Descendant cranks ($65), LN/used E13 carbon bar ($40), new Whisky 60mm stem ($30), Shimano MT 500 brakes fresh bleed and installed ($50), LN Vee Rubber smll block 2.10'/29 ($40) NX 12s shifter Ispec mount ($25) I am in South NJ would drive up to an hour to meet or you pay for shipping.   $400 for all of it, you would need a rear mech, shift cable, seat post and wheels.

article about the bike here

Wonder if its a copy or the actual manufacturer selling the design/model Cane Creek is marketing (Im sure that cant/dont make everything they sell in house)... last several years it seems more often its the manufactures selling local/direct more than doing knockoffs.

Anyone know how large of a front chainring you can run on these bikes (not sure it matters but its a boost frame DUB boost crank)

Rode it for about a year with 2.3's but ended up buying a short travel full suspension (YT Izzo) and now want to make it more of a flat bar gravel bike with these American classic 50c semi slicks.   and would be want 36t front chainring ideally. any idea? looks like it would be touching the chain stay and would rather not drop the money for a test fit.

thanks
Ray

took me forever but I finally had some time to build it up.

I built a big Privateer 161 for bike parks last year and ended up liking is so much I pretty much stopped riding my 30 pound "normal" 140mm travel Intense Primer except on real mellow XC single track.    The Intense was built as a light weight trail ride so all the parts made sense on the Airwolf, in XL the air wolf is right around 23.5 pounds with a solid build and meaty tires.

only done about 50 miles but so far its exactly what I wanted, eats up climbs and normal single track... Not sure I would push it especially on a rigid fork so anything really steep and rocky I will be bringing the 161 :)

Hey guys I have now probably 500 or more miles on my airwolf and one of the first things I've found is that I have a dreaded creak from the rear axle.  The molding on the dropouts on mine is pretty poor and the axle cap doesn't sit flush.  This has lead the tire to sitting off center in the frame.  I've contacted them about getting a new frame but their customer service on ali express is bad.  The take forever to respond and seem to be just avoiding me at this time.  I sent the many photos and videos as well. I let you know how it turns out and try and upload some photos.

hope they make it right for you.   Did you happen to use PayPal?  I had an issue with wheels and PayPal reversed the charges for me easily, even the shipping....never did hear from them so I just paid $40 or so to send them back.

I have bought a 4 direct from China bikes (gravel bikes and one rigid 29er)... gets confusing several "brands" are often the same company and the companies are not actually the manufacturer... I dont know how it all works out but so far I have seen the same frames from several "brands" so hopefully this one ends up being the same deal.

I want one of these in the largest size for myself and something for the wife in small FM-M931/FS831 (same frame very similar to the SC Hightower) or just another one of these.

These catalog frames have really come a long long way vs last year!!  last time I looked I found some 150mm travel bikes but all short reach, crazy low stack and steep HTA.... long legged modern XC bikes or very old school like my 2006 Cannondale Gemini but in 29er

Just got this email from "Gavin" at LightCarbon

Hi Ray,

Thanks for your reply.

As I check your website, it seems that you are not doing bike business.
LCFS947 is our 2021 new model full suspension enduro frame. This model is
designed to sell to OE clients only.
If you just want one frame for personal use, I'm afraid we can not supply.
Hope you can kindly understand.

You can check our website, to see if there are some other models be your
interest. Thanks.

Best regards,

anyone save the geometry chart/ingo?  the links to the from are down right now and I am super curious.

I will be buying or building a park bike for the wife.. leaning towards building because she is only 115 pounds and low/mid level slack 160-170mm travel compete bikes are all pretty over built for her and what she likes to ride.    also looking at the ICAN p9 with offset chock mounts to slacken it up a bit more

Yes its BB386 I have ben very happy with the Wheels Manufacturing GXP BB... I also had one on an older carbon CX bike I picked up used, the frames were known to get squeaky but the thread together BB kept it dead silent for several thousand miles....I used it for road ridding, dirt roads, mellow CX single track and commuting.

Well that backfired... thank you for the reply,  Carbonda did have two models of fork that would work but unfortunately they also have the cfr696 frame and fork combo and I really like it LOL
I am tall and the 696 has 15mm more reach, 15mm more stack, room for fatter tires than my current ride the ICAN AC388... plus the fork bolts I wanted in the first place.

Got a reply from Adam at Carbonda and will be placing ,y order for a 696 tomorrow.

The ICAN will be my first direct from China frame I sold, any idea what a realistic price would be for a used direct $600 direct frame?
With Wheels Manufacturing GXP BB I was thinking $350 and some shipping, does that seem about right?

Thanks
Ray

Anyone know a source for Carbon gravel bike fork with bottle/storage bolts, checked the usual open mold companies but no luck
400 A2c for 42c max (max tire clearance on the rear of the bike is only 40c so I down want a monster fork)
