Re: LCFS947 - 160mm 4-bar 27+/29 Yep I did. Now just waiting for them to complete the build and ship it out.

I have some spare xtr brakes and shifter laying around. I still have a backup dropper and cockpit parts.. Manage to score a barely used dpx2 for $250.

What’s left is to get some 29er wheelset and fork. Using the waiting time to save up for those.

Can’t wait for the frame to arrive.

Re: LCFS947 - 160mm 4-bar 27+/29 Actually I ordered with lightcarbon before the link went down and came up on yishunbikes.

Was in contact with a Wendy.

For all you BIS (bike idiot savants), what is this one a clone of? I always assume most of these are based on or started out as an OEM production frame.

Reminds me of the KHS sixfifty 7500, but with larger wheels and a modern geo.

Re: Chinese SC/AM831 Group Buy This thread was started March and it's half a year later and it seems we have not gotten any sort of progress towards even seeing ONE frame in the hands of a customer.

I'm looking to get a new bike built come Christmas. Unfortunately, it's starting to look like the Covid vaccine has a better chance of coming to customers first before this frame does. :(

Re: Chinese SC/AM831 Group Buy Yeah, I'm not quite sure how to handle it. I want to honor my commitment to those that have submitted their intentions to join the group buy but I also don't want to mislead newcomers to the forum and make them waste time planning on buying and building out this frame.

I guess all I can really do is keep stating that this obviously isn't a guaranteed deal and to not depend on buying this frame to get you out on the trails anytime soon. I can only assume that most of the people that have expressed interest won't actually be buying the frame if and when it comes out. At a certain point, if we don't hear anything from Eddie, I guess I'll just lock the thread. As always, open to opinions.

Re: Chinese Santa Cruz/AM831 I think there's a pic of bigfoot riding it past a gathering of aliens being chased by ghosts.
