Just put my down payment on a road frame with carbon fork from Waltly. Prices have gone up quite a bit (they quoted me 8120RMB total for frame, fork, and domestic Chinese shipping) but it's still cheaper than the aluminum Specialized Allez Sprint frame I was looking at. Going with basically Cannondale Synapse design / geometry. They said it'll be done in about 2 months after drawings are finalized. Can't wait to start the process.

Sigeyi is the best Chinese power meter brand but don't get the Zrace/Sigeyi crankset, the arms have a design flaw where they rub against the spider eventually wearing through and allowing moisture to seep in. Xcadey power meters are unreliable but their crankset is imo the best constructed. The first batch of the new Magene QED crankset had FD clearance issues and needed to be recalled while their old crankset was a bit flexy. I am looking at the Sigeyi power meter for a new build that I'll be doing in the spring. It seems they have what I want - 24mm axle, SRAM 3 bolt connection, 130BCD for running a 1x ring. And it sounds like GPLama had a good experience with them, so that's good too. I do like the looks of the Magene, but I don't want one where I can't choose my own cranks and chainring, so that's out. Sorry if this has been asked but i was not able to find it. what does a basic Ti frame from Waltly cost? i know this is a loaded question as there is a lot of customizing that can be done but just a run of the mill gravel frame or road frame? I would really like to go this route but i kind of want to have a ball park before i get going. Thank you in advance. The road frame that I have on order (which is almost finished - they are doing logos and then it's going to be done!) cost me 8100 Chinese Yuan, or about US$1200 including Chinese domestic shipping and a carbon fork. Custom Waltly Ti road bike - "Alberta Clipper"
First inquired with Waltly at the end of January. Dealt with Sumi. She was very responsive and friendly. Submitted my plans and made down payment in early February. Drawings were approved a few days later. Just received my frame, along with a carbon fork and titanium seatpost and stem last weekend and put it together. Some pics of the build process: Frame and parts  Build pics    Finished product:    Total price came out to about US$1300, including frame, frame logos, fork, FSA headset, titanium stem, titanium seatpost, and Chinese domestic shipping. Build went relatively smoothly, though installing the internal cabling was a pain and I had to bodge the front derailleur cable run a bit because I didn't notice on my original drawing that the front derailleur cable hole in the frame was only suitable for Di2 cabling and certainly not for compressionless cable housing. Weight including pedals came to about 9.3kg. Parts used for the build all came from Taobao，including: - PRO Vibe Aero handlebar - Giant Fleet SL saddle - Giant bar tape - Ultegra R8000 shifters and derailleurs - 105 11-32 cassette, 105 chain - Stone 50-34 chainrings - Sigeyi AXO power meter (110 BCD) and crank - Shimano SPD-M520 pedals - Onirii cable-actuated hydraulic disk brakes - Jagwire cables, housings, and 160mm centre lock disk rotors - Timibike handbuild 50mm carbon wheels with DT Swiss DT350 hubs Super satisfied with the result. The frame and sandblasted logos looks great. Bike is a perfect fit for me (obviously!) and feels great to ride - super quick, too, as I went for a 25km ride this morning and averaged 34km/h!
