Re: Climbing road frame? Anyone dared to take the chance on this frame?
Looks like a aethos clone and with a lot lower weight than the other clone options.
Sold by a Auto-store, not exactly confidence inspiring :)

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! I picked up a pair of  620ml "Redshift" bottles ca a year ago, they had a "silicon dioxide coating" equvialent of brandname "Purist" bottles.
They keep the water tasting good but the cap may be a bit a leaky if they lay flat. However i cant find them an Ali anymore, and iv'e been looking for other bottles with silicon dioxide, so i hope there is someone out there that kan give us a pointer to a good bottle.

Re: Spcycle New Mold G056 Carbon Gravel Frame
Hello, I am considering this frame (from Spcycle or Velobuild) and have some question about integrated headset.
In previous messages i've read something about issues on fork due to some compression component on the headset.
if someone has buoght recently this frame, do you had similar issues?
Thanks
I bought mine from ceccotti,  no issues with the headset during assembly and everything feels ok on the garage floor, still some (winter) time until I can do a proper shakedown ride.

Re: Spcycle New Mold G056 Carbon Gravel Frame
Are you running electronic or mechanical groupset? Just wondering how it is to run 4 housing through the headtube/headset
I'm running a 11speed di2, so just two hydraulic hoses and a di2 wire through the integrated handlebar and headset. I did a mechanical 105 for a friend on a similar headset/stem, routing and cutting was a PITA and the tight bends affected the shift performance.

Maybe going with external routing on handlebar & headset in combination with the external headset shim/adapter improves routing?

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc!
If you have a separate stem, I prefer stem computer mounts over the bar attached computer mount. This OGEVKIN CF stem computer mount is good...if it's not a lemon. I bought 3 of them. 2 work fine, but 1 had a bad garmin mount attachment which cracked. It's hit or miss.

OGEVIN mount:

A word of warning on those mounts, you need to be careful when assembling it and put washers and spacers in the right order. A friend of mine made a misstake with that type of mount and had a hair-rasing :o experience when the handlebar started rotating in the stem on a fast, twisty and bumpy decent.
