Title: Overforking a P9 (29er build) - good or bad idea?

Background
On the diagram, letter F (axle to crown) states 571mm, which is the A2C of a 160mm travel Rockshox Lyrik or Pike 29er.  Offset states 42mm.

The Plan
Find a 29" Lyrik 170mm (A2C of 581mm) with a reduced offset of 44mm.  Use it on the P9 to achieve a 65.5 degree head angle.

Good idea or bad idea?

Did some calculations online on how the geo changes and I'm quite happy with the results.  I wonder if the head tube can take the extra 10mm added.

Hope someone can tell me if this is accurate.

The fork list isn't up to date so you need to get the accurate axle to crown measurement of the fork that you want.
