I want to replace my old 100mm fully and my other Hardtail bike with a new leightweight 29er XC marathon racer.
Which one is the better option m7007-II or FM936 to do races....weight, geometry and upill performance?
My second thought was to put in a 120mm fork.
Rock Shocks has 2021 a new 120mm fork which is still lightweight at about 1500g.
does anywone has tried to put any 120mm fork on one of the frames from pro XC pro-mance m7007-II or carbonda FM936?
The height of the SID SL is 531mm compared to 506mm for the 100mm version.
There are pictures from a bike called megamo track R120 which to me look like a good fit

I'm building the FM936 with a sid select (35mm legs) 120mm. I'll tell you how it is when i've built it, I want to use it for marathon.

the more I read the posts in this forum the more I get the impression that the m7007-II is designed for 100mm and not 120mm.
The carbonda fm936 has many posts with 120mm, so I guess this build is less risky to fail.
I have seen more posts with the carbonda fm936 than m7007-II leaving the impression the fm936 is more popular and up to date.
does anyone has the opinion, that the m7007-II is better than the fm936?

the frame of the m7007-ii looks quite low on the seatpost. will a small droper seatpost fit?
