Title: Ceccotti store - road bike frame
Post by: mariobro12 on March 01, 2021, 02:31:25 PM
Hi guys!
Recently I found this sweet looking frame from company called Ciccotti (well, obviously it's not their design, its a copy from Pinarello, great one btw):

Did anyone had some experience with this shop, or can suggest me is it worth of trying?
I'm very into that frame, and ready to click it..  8)

Cheers
Mario

That frame looks based on Pinarello rather than a straight up copy or same mould.

There are quite a lot of Dogma copies - Raoul cut one up and it wasn't appreciably worse than a real one (both were fairly poor).

What I find interesting is that carbon copies of the Grevil appeared immediately after  its release.  Clearly the moulds weren't exclusive to Pinarello.  Haven't seen someone admit to buying one of those yet.

They seem to be using T1000 or T1100 layups, which I think is what the more expensive Grevil + uses.

I suspect they may be exactly the same bike made at the same factory.  Just one cost $5k for a frameset and the other $700.  Interestingly they don't sell the size 59 though.

Hey I was just wondering if you ever decided to buy a Ceccotti frame and if so what's it like? Any info is appreciated, thanks!
