Title: merlincycles.com : taxes for a canadian ?

Hi,

   Any canadian in the forum who bought  from merlincycles.com ?
I am wondering if we get the taxes on delivery on it is a gamble ?

No I didn't. The groupset I want to buy is sold out.

My guess would be similar to Chainreaction Cycles, it will be hit or miss, but most likely "hit" on a high value item

I've used merlin a few times with delivery into ON. The magic number for duty and taxes seems to be about $250 total purchase. Below that and you likely are ok.
