Title: Frames for hybrid bikes
Post by: svanimpe on March 21, 2022, 07:41:06 AM
Does anyone have any experiences with hybrid builds (road frame with flat bar)? I'm looking for a suitable frame:

- very high stack
- slightly longer reach
- slacker head tube angle (preferable 70-71 degrees).

I was interested in precisely this topic … building a hybrid, presumably with a road frame that had suitable geometry.  I’ve searched all over but come up dry for advice.  Any suggestions?

My 2016 Merida "Fitness Bike" used one of their Cyclocross frames with straight handle bar and is allowing wider tires. In the meantime I have modded it to my drop bar race bike...
So in my opinion just select one of the many available gravel bikes with relaxed geometry and high stack.
