Similar design to the bxt mtb056 but less extreme seatstay position and a lot lighter. Geo seems very similar to the Cannondale scalpel ht which is a nice slackened xc bike. The threaded bb is a nice addition as well.
What is the recommended fork length and offset?

Hi, I'm so sorry, I don't understand what "rear end flex" means, can you describe it in detail? thank you

@spcycle - What is the difference in your SP-M016 model and the SP-M08? Looks similar except the geometry of the M016 is much more slackened (head angle 67 vs 70). Is that right? Can I route dropper, rear brake, and derailluer cables internally? The geo specs are assuming what size fork? What is the max chainring? What is the max rotor size that fits the rear?
This looks like it checks a lot of boxes: slacker design, bb 73mm threaded, 2.4" tires max, boost spacing. I just bought a new full suspension but looking to do a fast hardtail

I want to know if the rear triangle offers some comfort, if that rear offers some compliance so filter small bumps... if yes, how much mm is the carbon compliance
-
Short but interesting and light frame. It has also shorter chainstays than bxt, could be nice for progressive gravel when combined with 480mm fork and -1.7deg slackr (frame is IS42/IS52 isn't it?). @spcycle, could you post pdf for size L? Do you have drawing of chainstays? I need to check clearance.

IHMO frame compliance is last thing when it comes to bump compliance: fork/shock -> tires -> seatpost/handlebar -> frame. Take a look at this video:

More important is how this frame flexes under load, but I guess there is no info about it:

I have built bike with this frame (size M) for my girlfriend in september. I think it is the best downcountry hardtail frame at this moment - good reach numbers, good saddle position, perfect headtube angle (66.0 with 120 mm fork).

I have found only two problems:
1. Chainline must be 53 mm or wider. With smaller numbers chainring is rubbing chainstay. Checked with 32, 34 and 36-teeth chainrings on M8100 crankset (52 mm) and installed M8000-B (53.4 mm) without any problems.
2. Some calipers with 160mm rotors can not be fitted into the rear stays (M6000). But I haven't any problems with M8100 and M7100 with 180 mm.
Yesterday I have recieved the same frame for me and my friends building another two bikes with this frame. Chameleon painting is awesome.

Looks good, I'm strongly considering this frame. Can I ask how tall is you GF? I'm 5'7, thinking the 17" (medium) should be good. Also, what do you think of the seat stay? Is this a compliance thing? It looks less strong then a straight stay.
My GF is 164 cm tall. 17" frame with 45 mm stem and 760 mm handlebar (9 degrees backsweep).
She have noticed some vertical compliance on rough surface. And I haven't noticed any stiffness problems during sprinting and pump track riding on this bike.
I will try this frame in size L soon.
What's the weight of this frame?
Does it have ZS type headset so angleset can be installed?
Frame weight is 1.106 kg.
Headset - integrated, bearings is installed directly into the frame

Any more thoughts on this frame? Looking at getting two, one for my daughter and one for myself.
All of the carbon frames I’ve had have been black. Thinking of going gloss white with a blue pearl or metallic finish.
-
That didn’t take long, two frames were ordered today, February 19th. One 19” frame painted in gloss pearl white and a 17” frame in matte black and matte pink. So far communication has been quick and helpful. I’ll keep the thread updated as things progress.
-
She looks rather promising in the photo - any more pictures?
-
Anyone tried to use true to size 2.6" 29er tyres (65mm width or more)? What is the clearance?
-
Hello,
Can I please get a price on a MEDIUM with Chameleon green + shipping to Australia?
also, do you have any rigid forks that you could send in the same paint scheme at the same time?
Thanks!

Hey - do you have an update?
I am interested to know. Thanks.

I ordered this frame on June 6 and received it July 12, glossy black paint no special requirements.
Frame arrived in good shape, no damage, BB threads fine, no paint chips and headset bearings installed and working.
Bike seems to have a fair bit of lateral flex but very little up-down flex. taking on the trails for the first time tonight.
Fitting FSA Comet with 36t cog, clears frame.
SRAM Level T calipers clear rear on 160mm disk.
