Anyone here heard of, or dealt with the Malaysian brand (Chinese built) Raceline? Apparently they make frames from the same factory as Cinelli. First seen it in Oompa Loompa Cycling E105 video below.

I am kind of intrigued...

I was under the impression that some of Cinelli's lineup is open mold frames... not sure how much, and I could be wrong.
Anecdotally, I've seen some carbon Cinelli frames at local shops for VERY good prices, sometimes heavily discounted.
-
The gent in the video mention his frame was quite stiff. I would be curious to know if it's true or simply anecdotal.
Shame there isn't more info on it, but I'm sure I could always shoot Raceline an email.
-
I would be interested to see the geo on it and the max tire size. It looks to be about $800 usd, So I would want the quality to be higher than say tan tan or VB. Better than Elves but that would be easy to match.

The company's shop is rather near to my house actually lol, perhaps may visit their website to know more: https://zavincicycle.com/raceline
However being an uber budget minded cyclist, I tend to source my own from China directly via taobao, etc.

Well if you can find their source or factory sources please let us know. Or just swing by the shop and check out their frames.

Same frame as the Rollingstone Hider, Engine11 Mach1, Atom 6 Strada, Zannata Z90, ICAN A40 and TopCarbon TCRF040
You are however limited to ACR stems because the front fork hose is routed above the steerer like the Oltre XR4. Guy in the video had to punch a hole in the fork to accept that Token S-BOX headset.

Eww... I wonder if you can just get everything except the fork and then get a different fork.

The Pressure was good enough to take Baroncini to victory at the '21 UCI World U23 (https://road.cc/content/feature/bike-bedtime-baroncinis-rainbow-cinelli-pressure-288279) race in Flanders

After looking at the geometry between the 2 frames. Ican and cinelli. I can say, they are identical. I would say Cinelli sources their frames from the same factory as raceline and the ican.
-
The geometry and mold might be the same, but the layup might not :)

This is precisely what I plan to investigate. Not really interested if it turns out to be just another bargain open mold.

I wrote this article. I never thought the day would come when this article would be read by someone from overseas, lol.
As you can see in the link below, As you can see in the link below, Chinelli's Pressure does not have exclusive use of the molds.
https://planet-podium.com/n/nd8e0aa21571a
(Translated)Paolo, First of all, I would like to state that "PRESSURE" is 100% Chinelli's design. However, our sales volume does not cover the full cost of the molds, so the supplier responsible for production has also made an investment. Therefore, we have a contract with other manufacturers that allows them to use our molds in return for their investment. This background may cause some misunderstanding, but Cinelli does all the design work. This information is not secret, but open. We are not secretive about this information, but we are open about it, and Francesca in the public relations department will answer any inquiries in the same way.

you just have to look at the quoted frame and fork weights
TCRF040 (https://www.topcarbontech.com/product/tcrf040/)
Regular frame: 46 1010g, 49 1040g, 52 1070g, 55 1095g, 58 1155g
Regular fork: 450g
Super Light frame: 46 955g, 49 975g, 52 995g, 55 1006g, 58 1000g
Super Light fork: 400g
for reference, Pressure in Size M is 990g & 390g, numbers which are comparable to TCRF040 SL in Size 52
Rollingstone (who Raceline sources from) lists their frameset at 1150g & 400g (no size specified)

I’m regularly blown away with the insight you guys bring to this forum. Thank you!
Silly question - What’s the different between Top Carbon and iCAN/Triaero? Is one an OEM factory and the other an agent/brand? I’ve been considering testing out a Speeder R49D or R52D frame, but now am tempted for a TCRF040 / iCAN A40 instead.

Road CC Cinelli Pressure Review

"After a bit of research, I've discovered it's common knowledge the Pressure uses an open-mold frame, which means that it's basically an off-the-shelf-option. Many brands do this to reduce costs, and I'm not saying that's a bad thing. There can still be a certain amount of customisation in the carbon lay-ups the bike manufacturer specifies, which will tweak stiffness and ride quality – and as I've mentioned, the Cinelli scores well on both of these points.
At a claimed 990g for the Toray T700 frame (size Medium) and 390g for the fork, its weight isn't too shabby either."

You can tell Cinelli didn't pay them for that review, and they were made an example of ... 5/10 and aired that it was open mould. Which they NEVER do.

I legitimately laughed out loud from reading your comment. This is why I appreciate when senior forum members chime in on these discussions.
It's funny because it highlights precisely why media outlets like GCN never give blatantly negative reviews, unless the product threatens their corporate sponsorships. So basically any brand from China/Far East. I still remember their whimsical and rather offensive video they promoted for Winspace.

Update...
So I reached out to both Top Carbon (TCRF040) and ICAN (A40)
Top Carbon asked me what my "bike company name" was, meaning they only sell their frames to businesses. Makes sense if they're the OEM.
ICAN quoted me:
USD $740/set ,including frame ,fork ,handlebar, stem, headset, hanger
Shipping to USA by Fedex ,USD $138 (7-15days)
Their customer service was very pleasant. And not only did they include a few photos of the frame in their reply, but they also attached a full fledge pdf/manual of the specs including weight of all the individual components (bearings ect).
$900 shipped is probably more than what folks would expect to pay. However, it's clear they are slightly above the bargain bin Chinese frames.
