Hi mates,
I'm searching for a new chinese bike and wonder, if you're having good recommendations!
Anything tobe released soon?
Anything extraordinary in whatever way?
Thanks

I'm very happy with my long teng 268 (I sound like a broken record by now). I built two.
The light carbon 17D, if you can unsee that bus shaped down tube looks very appealing, if you're riding a 54. If not the wait time is silly.
The vb268 looks promising but there are a lot of people reporting quite a few problems, some of which I wouldn't know how to fix.

H8, I'm happy you mentioned long teng, what about the recently released RD301-D?
Any more recommendations

You can't buy it yet, I think the first frame will be ready at the end of April or something like that. If you don't mind the 38c fork, you probably want to buy that one instead of the 268 because newer frames benefit from latest developments in terms of layup, weight control and so on. Which is why the vb268 > VB 168, for eg. I have mixed feelings about a road bike that takes 38c, I would want to see how wide the fork is.
I posted on the forum my 5 cents on the geometry of 301 Vs 268 Vs gravel where my conclusion was that 301 is a road bike, not a gravel bike.

Thanks, the RD301-D looks like the same geometry like my canyon ultimate, so good
