I see many listings for this seatpost, which seems inspired by the Ergon CF Allroad:

Has anyone tried it?
If so, what's a good solution to use a carbon saddle with it? It only comes with round saddle clamps.

I have been looking at these for the logest time.
Not being able to use my carbon saddle stopped my from getting them.
I remember seeing an original Ergon carbon saddle clamp but is was ~$40. :-\

It is considerably more rigid than the original seat post.
And the clamping itself developed play , so the saddle is fixed on the rails but can shift left to right (standing behind the bike)
I have no clue if you could use the 7x9 clamping from Ergon.
.. by the way: the same seat post is available at Canyon slightly cheaper.
In the overall experience.. the copy is not really great. ;D

I bought one a few years ago. I still use it regularly without issue.
The clamp had the same left-right play, which I fixed with shims.
The design of the clamp won't fit non-round rails. Atleast not without filing some material.

Ergon sells their 7x9 clamp separately for 30 eur: https://www.ergonbike.com/en/product-details.html?anr=43080022
Not sure it would be compatible with this copy, however.
