Title: Recommended Integrated Stem Gravel Bar
Post by: BruceJR on September 18, 2024, 12:03:20 PM
Would like to know what Chiner brands/models people have had good luck with for integrated bar and stem options like Syncros Creston IC SL X type bars.  To be honest, I'm a little worried about having such a key component that I intend to ride some under biked single track, be from Chiner/Aliexpress.  Where a failure of the bar could be catastrophic.  I've used multiple open mold frames and other components but not bars so I could use some reassurance or dissuasion if applicable.  Thanks!

I mounted quite a few of these: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004788375665.html
They are stiff and light. The top cap isn't that beautiful but kind of ok.

They are compatible for OD2 steerer tube and 30.8 with an aluminium insert.
This insert is a little too thin so adding some tape around its outer face were enough to fix that.

Have you set these up with mechanical shifting?  Just looking to find a IC for my Scott Addict Gravel that doesn't require enlarging holes to fit the hoses.
