Stem -12 to -17 degrees - 120 mm length - integrated cable routing

anyone have any tips?

So far I've only found the Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL7 31.8 stem and this one: https://www.sq-lab.com/produkte/vorbauten/sqlab-vorbau-812-r.html

both ambitious prices for a stem...
And in my opinion the S-Works is only partially integrated...

It looks like you can finally buy the new FSA SMR II stem. It is a -10, but if you run it for internal routing, there is quite a bit of drop at the bar clamp because of the design.  I suspect this stem will result in a position lower than the -17 degree option from SQ lab.

Unfortunately, stems aren't dimensioned to reflect eventual bar height as stack clamping height and drop at the bar clamp can be hard to find. I expect to pick one of these up in the next few weeks, as soon as I can get one from a source other than BikeInn in the 130mm length.

It's a decent price and available in the 120mm size here: https://www.gambacicli.com/en/fsa-ns-smr-ii-10-road-stem.html

The Specialized Sworks Tarmac -12 stem is lighter, and I can confirm that at the 130mm length, the bar position is equal, height wise, to a 130mm -17 Kalloy Uno.

I also like the da Vinci stem - above all it looks very clean and allows me an even lower position.

Instead of a Vinci handlebar or handlebars with a DRC system, I think you could also use any other suitable handlebar that has an opening in the middle of the stem, because they say something about DCR compatibility...?
Or am I seeing this wrong?

You can use any bar with internal routing. I use a flared aero gravel bars from AliExpress and those are the best bars I've ever had

Now you KNOW you gonna have to stop gatekeeping and share the AliExpress link to those bars. Ironically, I think I know which bars those are  ;D

Those bars look very interesting. Do they flex under load?
Can you share the link to those?

The inner width of that controltech is 4036.5mm. any stem lesser than 4036mm would be fine.
The height needs 38mm minimum for clamping. taller is fine (you can use aftermarket bolt lenght/no proprietary.
That bottom part lengh is ~45mm. if your stem has >45mm clamping area, you are golden. the kit comes with rubber gasket, but old mtb tube cut to strip would be fine too(prevent cosmetic scratches)

The width of that controltech is 40mm. any stem lesser than 40mm would be fine.

Thanks a lot.
i decided to remeasure as i now have a digi caliper (+new batt), its actually internal 36.5mm clearance, and not 40mm.
take note

I bought an internally Kocevlo stem and it was also around 210g. I opted not to use because that's 120g over what my current non integrated stem weighs! The weight gain versus aero ain't worth it to me.
