What does anybody knows about TanTan X67 ?
https://www.instagram.com/vivianttian/reel/DAXVCCoNOem/
Considering between X67, X68 and X69. I'm also considering the XMCarbon Speed CS-R01. Any thoughts about XM Carboon Speed or TanTan ? I prefer to get the wheelset together, and Peter seems to be a better option.
Thanks !!

Tantan sent me a geometry chart of the X67

What is it a clone of this time ? I cannot decide if I want to build a new bike and which frame... the price added up, shipping, tax, painting...
-
Can't say I recognise the aesthetic. I like the seatstays, could contribute a bit of compliance. The geo is a bit too relaxed for my taste and the seatpost has a disgusting amount of setback. Downtube looks a bit square, but the viewing angle isn't great
-
Could be the Canyon Aeroad CFR. Also a similar geometry as the Factor Ostro VAM.

Stack and Reach are identical to the Factor Ostro. Angles not quite. Also the shape is not identical.
-
Not even close to ostro or aeroad

Looks nothing like a Canyon Aeroad.
Geometry quite similar to X68 at least in 56

So , TT-X68 is a clone for SL8 and TT-X69 is a clone for SuperSix Evo ?
-
TT-X67 looks like a Specialized Shiv TT. Not sure which one but the shape looks the same.

Seems like it, the geometries are the exact same and the tube shapes seem identical to the naked eye

Trek Madone Gen 7/8 clone coming next lol "X70"
They already have a Gen 6 clone, which I built for a buddy of mine ;D

Could it be Seka Spear although that would be a strange one to imitate..... but I couldn't find geometry for Seka Spear...

I'll be honest, this doesn't look anything like the spear... Different seatstay-seat tube connection (no wind-eye), the lower part of the headtube where the fork connects is also different compared to the seka, you can see that the "edge" on the seka starts right where the fork connects, while the edge on the X67 is quite a bit lower down on the down tube
-
Besides the fact it's not remotely similar, why the hell would they want to copy seka?

now with more air intakes
-
Now that is crappy, they literally just glued that shit on. It doesn't even fit well

I thought I saw a air-intake, hence the question of if they are trying to copy Seka Spear... but hell no and OMG... that looks like one of those Japanese car with heavy wings.... Not sure if I like it... LOL

Isn't every carbon "glued on" literally piece by piece... quite weird and strangely interesting... ... they went out of their way to have a "aero" design... including front fork as well.
-
Does anybody know if this frame is available without this strange air intake? Besides this strange plastic part, the frame looks quite good to me with reasonable geometry, UDH hanger and T47 BB.
And does anyone know the weight of the frameset in different (larger) sizes?
-
I mean you can just ask them? can't be hard for them to just skip that one step of putting that thing on
-
So I've added the geometry to bike insight (only sizes XS S and M for now) https://bikeinsights.com/bikes/67d15a9f8ecb24001bbf2524-tantan-cycling-seraph-tt-x67?version=2025&build=base, and I asked some questions (not all have been answered) :
"About TT-X67,
1. The rear triangle can be disassembled.
2. TT-X67 is currently only available in XS-45cm size,
and the stock is black matte.
3. No complete bike pictures. Sorry.
4. Latex EPS technology.
5. Only one set of XS in stock. Quote:
TT-X67:1set/499usd (include:frame/fork/seatpost/handlebar/spacer)
Headsets:1set/10USD
Thur axle:1pair/20USD
Above is the quotation of black matte.
Shipping to Germany: 150USD.
Tax included, door to door shipping service."

Update from Tantan :
Regarding the TT-X67 handlebar,
There is an update.
We have switched to the HB067 handlebar,
Attached the geometry diagram,
Thank you.

Surely, the claimed fork weight of 195g on the TanTan website is a mistake, right?

Yeah, It should be 395 probably.

Terrible looking frame!
'fuck the set stay junction is too complicated and expensive to replicate lets stick a hunk of metal on there that kind of looks the same' ;D

I mean, it is a lot easier to make like this, if they'd add something like this made out of carbon (but a separate piece) you wouldn't have any potential issues regarding EPS molding on the drop seatstays with that more complex construction. If they refine it a bit and add a carbon piece instead of a metal or plastic one it's IMO a reasonable idea.

I will remove it directly if I buy it that is for sure
