Title: Elitewheels EDGE - TPU
Post by: alfiomotrambo on January 02, 2025, 09:11:05 AM
Hi guys!

Happy New Year!

Just a quick question because I'm new to this.

I just got my Elitewheels EDGE, I want to use them with a TPU tube and not tubeless, do I still need to install rim tape?

Thank's for the help!

Yes, you always need rim tape if the nipple holes are exposed. I learned the hard way.

Yeah, I also discovered that the "you only need two or three loops of electrical tape" doesn't really work with higher pressure, as TPU tubes are very flexible and will carve their way into that
