Title: Winspace T1550 Gen 2 build
Post by: MilRob on January 15, 2025, 11:07:54 AM
Built up my Gen 2 and flew with it to Florida for some outdoor miles.    So far I am really impressed.   Sub 17lbs.    Carries and holds speed well.    Very happy with it so far.

What bar “stem” length did you go with?

It looks very noble. What's your driving impression? Is it stiff and responsive?

I went with 42x115 bars and then ended up switching to a 40x115.  So I have a set of 42’s if anyone is looking.

Yes the frame is stiff and responsive.    I would not consider it harsh.   Holds speed really well.   I am impressed with it.

Nice photo!
your chainring looks suspiciously small, and your cassette suspiciously big. What's up with that, Florida man?

I’m actually from MN.  Just flew with the bike to Florida for vacation.    46 front 10-44 rear.   Likely prob switch to a 48 front at some point.

Hi everyone, is the free shipping enough to avoid unexpected customs duties upon delivery? I'm ordering from Italy and purchasing the T1550 bundle + Hyper wheels.

What's your height? In want to get the xl because stack and reach fit me well but 835 mm standover height is a bit tight for my liking.

DPD should do the job but ask confirmation to Winspace.

What is your saddle height?

I was considering the same frame, but the support from winspace told me that i could not get a saddle height of 83cm with this frame...

fwiw, my saddle height is 81cm, size Medium, pretty sure you can get another 2cm out of it (Alisa could confirm that). My frame is cheap as chips. Dated, though, by today's standards. https://www.ltbikes.com/index/products/view/id/21.html. I love that bike :D
