Title: Which Chinese saddle did you end up picking?

I read and heard some good reviews on this Ryet 3D printed saddle but it's really not doing it for me. It feels too hard and I get of burn moving around in my seat a bit. I could do with a bike fit but I'm wondering what options you guys settled on...

I tried several 3D printed saddles, but ended up going back to the one you linked. I would try to adjust your saddle height and/or positioning to see if that helps. The rails on these RYET saddles are a bit higher compared to other saddles,  so you might have to lower your seat post height by a few mm. I found that helped best for comfort.

I like this particular RYET saddle because the wider front tip allows me to move my position forward to get leverage on seated climbs. The wide saddle opening is comfortable when I position further back when pedaling on the flats.

saddles are 100% personal, so always be careful with other people's recommendations
most of the 'comfort' comes from the shape of your butt interacting with the shape of the saddle (and, of course, bikefit adjustments, riding style, movement, materials, etc etc)

all that said, you might need to spend a bit and try some different shapes and adjustments (height, fore/aft) before you find comfort
good news is that on Ali you can try a number of different shapes for very cheap, and when you find the shape you like then you look for a better model and spend a bit more.. or even buy from a reputable brand on your local bike shop

I use that same Ryet 3D with the 'pro stealth' shape and it fits me really well, been like 2yrs I believe, still good
there's plenty of comments about the friction of the 3D material, I myself didn't experience it, but it can explain the 'burn' you feel when moving. Maybe 3D is not the way to go.

I really like the Mixed 5d for my road and gravel bikes.

I really liked the WildSide Mimic saddle on my MTB until it broke at the bike park over the summer.  It's 95% of the legit saddle at 10% of the cost.  It is slightly softer than the legit seat.

I replaced it with the legit Specialized PowerSaddle w/ Mimic that I had been using on my gravel/road bikes until I found the Mixed saddle.   I prefer the slightly flatter saddle profile on a MTB.

I have three of these still going strong, the oldest has been in use since 2018.

I have the elita one on one bike and the goldix 3D printed on another. Very happy with both. I would say maybe the rails are worse on the goldix but you can't go wrong with either, even if saddles are personal. I would never consider western options anymore

Also elita one. I have 5 or so in use, none has had any problems, the oldest one is slightly torn up but still going. insane value. I don't trust the 3d printed ones not to eat through my pants.

After almost 2 years, I still like my GUB 1166. It looks like a more classic shape (aka full-size saddle), has a slim nose with rounded sides, a wideish back, a generous relieve cut and a very slight "step" in the back (think sqlab, but without the pain, it's rather subtle and nicely rounded). After all that time, the upper has collected a few small scars, the clamping area looks slightly chafed and the saddle became a little creaky at the rear where it connects to the shell (not nice, but purely cosmetic), other than that it's still going strong and my butt still likes it. Not sure if they're still sold, though.

First I bought this full carbon 3D printed Ryet one in 150mm, was a bit wide for me tho.

Recent fall I got this 3D printed Ryet one in 140mm, I would recommend.

I have 2 of these. A 3d printed-full carbon on my roadie and an EVA top-full carbon on my hardtail XC bike. Both seem comfy enough for me, but it's only been a few months. Not sure on long term yet, or even rides longer than 1.5 hrs.

I almost feel like you have to buy several saddles before you find the right one. On top of that, you need to make sure you get the height, distance and angle that works for your fit and riding style.

Yea, still have to ride quite some miles to get a full picture, but so far so good. Also thinking about getting that EVA one, with coins I can get it for quite a cheap price.

at the moment i ride a ryet eva  (it's okisch) - will switch to a mixed 5D to see if i prefer it. I have also one of these elita one 96g ones, but man these are really hard, no padding at all.

so far my chiners are kinda knockoffs rather than the brand line itself
- racework ace pro4 (bontrager aeolus)
- adamo pl (ism pl 1.1)
- pro stealth

the shell somewhat soft n flexy, but theyre comfortable.
im not sure how the real deal compares, but at 12% of the original price, no brainer to stick with these

I have a mixed 7d - it's advertised as flat but it's quite curved actually.

I'd like to try the rpahanti version.

I'll buy a 5d to see if that's a bit more flat (ie I can rotate my pelvis on it better).

My other saddles on other bikes are 3x Pro Stealth Carbons (generally v workable but a bit wide and so rubs when you roll forwards, which forces you right to the front of the saddle as it's V shaped not T shaped), 1x Dimension Nack (too narrow at front, only one position), 1x Scratch M5 (front is too narrow, no PAS).

I'd like a Nago EVO R4 or Flite flow to compare.

I have a Rpahanti I haven't tried yet if we're thinking of the same one (have a Fizik Argos R1 Adaptive right now). Would like to give the Rpahanti a try for its more narrow nose but be forewarned the chemical smell on the Rpahanti still hasn't dissipated after 3 months in and out of the box even leaving smell absorbents in the box. I tried to get a refund but they denied me for it. The rpahanti seems pretty much like a Bjorn copycat when I look at the photos side by side.

I should also point out a saddle I really like that I keep on my gravel bike. It's not chiner, it's actually Indian. Gusti Leather is a german company
All their leather goods are made in India and shipped from Poland, I believe. Free shipping to US, also! Some of their stuff isn't *that* much cheaper, but some is. All I know is that I have a $50 buffalo hide saddle that fits me very well. I couldn't be happier. Also got some matching leather bar tape that was super cheap and looked amazing, but was not squishy enough to keep on my gravel bike, and also a little slippery without gloves when my hands got sweaty. Looked and smelled amazing, though.

The 5d is really curved, it’s almost identical to some sella Italia slr models. I actually chuckled when I sat my bike with the 5d next to my buddies $7k Look with a $350 selle Italia saddle on it and saw the seats were practically  identical.

I'm currently trying out the Elita One 96g saddle (mine weighed at 94g). I like the shape so far, but we'll see how it feels after 3 - 4 hours of riding. Currently icy and cold here in Canada.

Despite the lack of padding, my butt seems to enjoy it regardless - imho, the shape of the saddle is more important than the padding.

Update (03/09/25): Saddle seems good so far. I'm adjusting my fit still, but I've ridden 100ks and just rode a quick 50k on the saddle. The only complaint i have is that it seems to rub my inner thigh a bit as I stay seated 95% of the time while climbing and over longer days, however I've solved that issue with chamois cream; this easily might just be a fitting issue. I've recently pushed it back 2 ~ 3mm, so we'll see how it goes.

Either way, it's a hell lot better than my previous padded saddle which just felt like my ass was on fire all the time, while seemingly durable enough. Plus I've got it paired with the Elita One seatpost - that comes to a net total of 213g. Some seriously sweet weight savings!

Here's my bike with the saddle, from this morning:
