Wonder if anyone has been using aliexpress aftermarket pads? I just ordered some RRSkit because of the color to be honest hahahaha. But yea, anyone have experience with them? or any other brand? Thanks!

This has been discussed many times. I'm sure the search function can help you.

I have been using Cocoma Ex Plus form the Alpha Cycling Store on AliExpress, can recommend them

I can reccomend all the aliexpress pads.
The ceramic seems to be the best compromise between organic and sintered

I'm using these too on ZRace rotors and no issues so far. Tried their ceramic ('Elite') ones and they were incredibly noisy - I could never get them to bed in properly (though it seems like many people have not had any issues).
I have tried Kocevlo resin pads and while they worked excellently, durability was very poor (maybe 1/4 of the life of Shimano pads).

I use unbranded ones from the bundle deal section, where a set of 4 pairs (8 pcs) was less than 3 bucks. After breaking in, which does take a while, they are just fine. I would buy them again.
Just for reference: 4Pairs Bike MTB Semi-Metallic Disc Brake Pads For Shimano B01S G01S A01S XTR XT SLX Deore Sram Guide Level HRD Red Etap Magura (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006961732280.html)

I just get the non-finned pads for 3 bucks. Honestly I don't feel much difference between regular and finned pads. I do a lot of descending as well. Better to have good braking/feathering technique as opposed to mashing your brakes.

I had a similar experience going from the Shimano finned pads to normal ones. I don't think a heatsink that small do any difference. It's mostly for looks or ''marginal gains'' like some people call it.

I also use random semi metallic pads from AliExpress, whatever is cheapest. Been using them for a few years on mtbs with no issues.
