Hi there,
Has anyone ordered from these Aliexpress vendors? I'd be pairing these with GRX 400 Calipers on a gravel bike.
The prices look good but I'm not sure if I'd be getting myself into an issue by ordering from them.

For me, they all come warped and rubs, and I've purchased countless times from several stores. Even after bending them back, half the time they warp again after a short ride. Hell, sometimes before the ride starts, they warp again. Success rate for them is about 33%, may go unnoticed if you have 12sp with the larger caliper gaps. If you don't mind the rubbing noise, they "work" and looks authentic. Might be ones that failed QA. It's 100% not due to the packaging/shipping.

It’s tough. A lot are definitely QA failures somebody diverted from the trash bin at the factory. No real way to be sure until after the fact.
Like with a few other items such as clipless cleats, chains and tires, it’s too easy to get either a fake or a lemon. The odds are pretty decent that you’ll end up spending more in the end because you had to buy twice.

I purchased two RT-CL900 rotors from this store (0033 Cycling). They're fine, still using them. At one point, one rotor bent slightly and started rubbing, and I had to use a tool to bend it back, but this is normal with Shimano rotors AFAIK.
And I've received Shimano rotors in a box from a local retailer that were bent worse out of the box.

i bought my rt-cl900 from YiwuDonglue shop. came without retail box, but work straight out no bend. it even had the orange seal warning tape on.
personally i dont think theyre reject parts, but more of an oe excess inventory.
Anrancee (sp?) also sos for my shimano stuffs

YiwuDonglue and Anrancee shops are totally legit

I bought some RT-CL800s from anrancee and they seem to be legit. They shipped them in a plain cardboard box which is better than some others I have bought that just came in bubble wrap or a padded envelope. However one of the rotors was still a bit warped but I just trued it with the fork that I also bought from AliExpress. I believe these are cheap because they are OEM parts meant for bike manufacturers and not for retail sale.
