Title: tires from AliExpress
Post by: 7vodka on March 14, 2025, 10:07:45 PM
I normally buy gp5000 tires from Amazon, but I'm seeing limited selection and higher prices. AliExpress seems to have better selection for non tubeless , clincher tires and lower prices.
Does anyone buy tires there?
Are they legit?

i only bought a super hard to get tires.
i scored 2x 26" michelin wildrun'r 1.4 slicks some time ago, n theyre legit.

if the tire line/model are known to be manufactured in CN or known for CN domestic market , high likely those are legit

I once tested those cheap Jinjer tyres and they were not bad to be honestly.
But it was dry, unsure what would happen in a race on wet surfaces :-)

I run and have run for several seasons Conti Ultra Sport III and I see those some cheaper on Aliexpress.  They have been great for me. Just have never bought from Aliexpress.

Your second link is the same as the first one.

Do you know the difference between H-486 and H-496. How is the puncture resistance and rolling ?
Thanks

Do you get a free album copy with purchase of tyres or at least merch with Tatiana's signature?  :)

Sorry here's the ChaoYang H496 AE link:
In the product description also explained the difference between H486 and H496, mainly H496 is few grams lighter and sidewall pattern is different.
