Thinking about building a carbon hardtail. I an about 235-240lb. I have a full carbon Chinese roadbike that I have put a lot of miles on with no issues.
Just curious if anyone her has a well built Carbon hardtail frame they would recommend. Looking for modern trail geometry, something that would work well with a 130mm or so fork.

SP cycle M06 is no lightweight frame so should be ok

How does it compare as far as weight to other possible options?

I think mine was around 1.2kg, so maybe 100-200g more than others. But without knowing exactly the carbon grade used between different frames, it’s a WAG on the strength…

I have the light carbon hard tail frame and it is just fine. I am about 250lbs ready to ride. It is more of an XC bike but it has held up well. I am running single speed so lots of low cadence torque. I think any company now operating under their own name will not have issues. Just don't go for the super light version if they offer. Us. If guys don't get all that luxury.

Further on this - does anyone know why most of the bike frame sales posts on Aliexpress say "item can't be shipped to your address"?
I am a residential address in the USA.

Because of tariffs and the end of de minimis exemption

So what are my chances of getting it, lol?

I think seller are waiting to see how things work out. Also some carrier are no longer accepting packages because they can not do the custom clearance…
