Title: Would you buy x12 axle from china or..

Would you purchase a brand name rear axle. The frame I think I have finally decided on is the 057, and I am wondering if I should go with the axle from Peter or get a brand name one that may work betteR? I just read on this forum and on MTBR that the rear axle from the chinese places is coming loose. Is there a better alternative?

No, I wouldn't buy the China axle again. I replaced the China axle with a DT Swiss axle. http://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,649.msg7120.html#msg7120

Yep, bought the DT SWISS axle to replace the China axle. It looks better, but most of all it stays on....
