I'm looking for a frame for my new all-mountain/freeride bike. I really love the Intense ACV, but the price is outside my budget. Does anyone have suggestions for a FS frame in 120-160mm area, which is long and slack (65-67 degrees HA)? I also need L/XL size and many chiner frames I have only seen smal sizes.

If that frame existed I would have bought it. As far as I know there is no such frame from a (reliable) Chinese vendor.

I was thinking if it could be a 2016 model 29er with boost spacing i could try to find in the used marked, which have room for 27+ tires. Maybe even a 2015 model but i don't think there are any with boost... Regarding HA; i could use angleset headset to get the HA i want.

Most Chiner frames from 2015 and before were pure XC: large HA.
Also the larger rear tire you could fit is a WTB Trailblazer.
I used to get that setup, with a longer fork to reduce the HA. But that's not what you want.
2016 started to provide some frames moving to slacker HA (but not 66°) and real plus size tire fit but travel remains limited to 100 mm.
Let's cross fingers that 2017 will provide longer travel frames...

I was also thinking about NON-chiner models. Trek were early with boost spacing and maybe I could try to find a remedy 29 and use angleset headset to get sub 67 degrees. Do you know if there are room for 2.8-3.0 tires?

I don't know for sure but I'd think that any 29er Boost rear hub frame can accommodate 27.5x3.0" tires.
As 27.5+ is a little smaller diameter then 29" you can increase the fork travel. This reduces HA and gets the BB height back to normal. I'd say that 20 mm increase in Fork travel is OK!

That was exactly what I was thinking. Combination of longer fork and angleset at -1 or -1,5 degrees, you will get a slack front. I just don't know which frames to look for... And i might not get 3" tires but 27,5x2,8 should be ok in most 29er boost frames. (?)
Maybe 2016 trek remedy 29er with, 160mm fork and -1 angleset you will get towards 66-66,5 area...

I was looking for a plus frame for my father, something similar to Sanata Cruz Hightower, Rocky Mtn Pipeline. He ended up finding a Hightower on sale, it's an awesome bike to ride.
If he hadn't found the Santa Cruz on sale, probably would have built a CS-001 as a 27.5+.

This frame have wider q-factor (which i don't like) and the spacing is not boost. I currently have 27,5+ wheelset with boost spacing on a hardtail an I want to change between the bikes...

You didn't mention those requirements.
I looked around a lot for something like you're asking about.
Nothing quite fits as of 2 months ago. As mentioned the CS-001 has all the right dimensions, except axle spacing and quality factor.

I have looked at Pivot 429 trail. It's not as slack and maybe a bit less travel than i want... but it's looks like a very firm and fun ride, short and nimble, which reviews agree in!
What are you thinking?

I'm waiting feedback on rear spacing, and if the HA of 69 degrees are correct. If HA is 69 and no rear boost, I will continue the seach...

Looks like this almost could do it, but not quite... It's something stange with the rear shock figures. 165x45 is not a rear shock that i have seen. What do you think?
I love slack HA and the travel amount it ok, but I would have liked to see another shock spacing...

I seriously considered buying this frame through Peter when I was contemplating building a FS Chiner plus bike. So far it's my favorite FS plus bike frame available through the direct market.

Lack of snow in the Alps during Christmas. Enjoying the mountains with my 27.5+ bike!

Snow is here now!! I plan some rides in the snow like I did last year. Still haven't installed my Pike fork, I've been lazy as it also means that I need to rebuild the front wheel with the Boost hub.
Where was your visit in the Alps?
