My wife and I really didn't get anything for each other but we did go on a cruise to the US Virgin islands and spent Christmas at the beach with family in the Florida panhandle.

Got myself apair of Crank Brothers Double Shot pedals and Schwalbe tubeless kit. Will be converting to tubeless in a couple of days.
A bunch of relatives (19 of them) came to visit, took them to the beach for a couple of days. They're pretty much city slickers so they enjoyed it a lot, especially the kids. I also got to use my Triboard swim mask, bought it a couple of months ago but didn't get the chance to use it. I liked it.

didn't make any Christmas gift list, but received a few things anyway so happy with it :-)
I did not ask anything cause I started to buy a couple of things for my new build :-)
Parcels have been arriving the one after the other ones for a few weeks (last one yesterday :-) )... now I'm waiting for the frame that should leave China in a few days...
So when it'll arrive, that will really be my Christmas gift ;-)

When we went snorkeling in St. Thomas, we saw a couple kids with Tribord snorkeling masks, they looked interesting and I'd like to try one next time we are on vacation.

I made out pretty good. The wife got me a Reverb Stealth for my 5010 and some Haven 35 carbon bars for my WW062 singlespeed. And I fell for Steep&Cheaps marketing and bought myself last years SC 5010v2 frame at 40% off.
How was St Thomas? St Thomas / St John is on our short list for a July 2017 vacation with the kids. Maui is on the list too as I lived there for 2.5 years before having kids. Other than airfare, Maui can be done rather inexpensive.

Just a side note; these islands used to be Danish until 100 years ago. Denmark sold them to the USA, however in the contract there is a option for Denmark to buy them back after 100 years..... I don't think we will do that unfortunately ;D

I use to snowboard over Christmas break but there is still no snow here... so I've been cycling! It was really cold (frozen road over bridges, and even a nice icefall), but it was really nice cycling in a different place (road bike).

The islands were very nice. We only stayed a day on each while our ship was in port, we were on the largest passenger ship in the world, Harmony of the Seas. We toured the island of St. Marteen and did snorkeling at St. Thomas. We could easily go back, it was a good vacation. If I had to rate the Caribbean Islands we have been to so far, I would put Grand Cayman at the top, then St. John as places I would be happy to visit again or even live.
