Ladies and Gents,
I'm looking for a 120mm FS similar to the 2017 Scott Spark 900, or 2016 Fuel EX.
67-68 degree HTA, 90-95mm HT, good pedaling performance without locking out the rear.
I've seen the Miracle Spark RC copy with 100mm but the front end is too slack (66.9° at 100mm fork) and I want 120mm at both ends.
Any suggestions?

I have been checking out these two for a friend of mine. Both look promising but the XM one is pretty slack. I've had great luck with Peter at XM so I'm wanting to go that route as long as the geo will work. But I think that's the one you said you didn't want as the HA is off.
To be honest, I am leery of getting a chiner frame without a unified rear triangle. I'm not sure why really but I am. I've always been a fan of the unified triangle mainly for stiffness but I just foresee issues with flexing and getting bushings and such.

What sbout the CS-821 ? That looks like the frame you are looking for
-
The CS-FS27, assuming it is 130/122 as stated, looks like the ticket. It appears to be a dead on copy of the Scott.
I'm also operating under the assumption that any frame built for 27x3.0s can take 29x2.35s.
-
Yup. Well you can with the CS-FS27. I've already checked with Peter on that. He did mention that it isn't quite ready for the market yet. Still doing some fine tuning.

Looks like the Miracle and FS27 have the same front ends. The FS27 just has a 148 rear triangle and Miracle a 142.
FS27 has a 165*38mm and the Miracle a 165*40mm rear shock. Can that be the difference in HTA's?
Until someone puts and angle gauge on the front fork of the Miracle...we'll never know for sure.
-
Am I wrong in that they both appear to have 66.9° HTAs?
The differences, as far as I can tell, are that the XM Carbon Speed is listed as 130/122, and the Miracle as 120/100.

That is odd for the rear travel being different. The 67 degree HA seems to coincide with 130/122 more so than 120/100 though.

From what i understand the 165x40 shock is a standard that was specifically designed for Enduro bikes. It gives a little more rear wheel travel with the same 165mm mounting and is not all that common of a shock. The geometry specs between the two frames listed seem to be quite different so i would suggest doing more research to find out exactly what the specs are. Peter has been a reliable source to this date and i have not heard any stories of him misrepresenting geometry specs of his frames.
Peter's is listed as 130mm fork/120mm rear travel where as the Miracle is listed as 100mm fork/100.2 rear travel. 100.2 rear travel with a 165x40mm shock seems off to me.

My bad in not looking at the HTA's on both bikes more carefully. For some reason I thought the FS27 has a steeper head angle. This is the listing where I saw the rear is 142. The fork is 100mm too.

Could be the Alibaba link is wrong. These frames probably all come from one place in Xiamen.
I'm really interested in this frame...and the M-108. The 108 has a 68 HTA with a 120mm fork.
Who knows...I might like a slack XC bike...like those Unno frames.

So to add to the confusion, there are two listings.
This one as a 27.5 + with a 148.

I ordered the axle you can see on these pictures.
It is just below the DT Swiss in term of feel, but very good.
Full alloy while the DT Swiss is a mix of alloy and plastic.

The axles look really nice. I wonder why they don't offer 12x148 boost rear.
