Title: CS-057 and 130mm fork
Post by: MtbPollock on May 06, 2017, 11:43:17 AM
My CS-057 frame should arrive next weekend. My friend offered a 120mm fork for me to use but when he gave it to me I realized it is a straight 1-1/8" steer tube. He also has a 130mm fork I can use with a tapered steer tube. I have been reading and know others have run 120mm on this frame and are happy, has any one run a 130mm?

There are headsets/adapters to put a straight fork into a tapered headtube.
If you put a 120mm you'll be happy. If you put a 130mm you'll be equally happy :)

I also just found out by changing the airspring in the Revelation fork the travel can be changed from 100mm-150mm in 10mm increments.
Will likely install the Revelation in 130mm and see how it rides. If I am not happy I will decide where to go from there.
Stay tuned.
