Re: Airwolf YFR068 - 2023 Gravel Frame Asking to close a dispute is high on the Ali scamming list (see the Aliexpress reddit) and is generaly advised against...
when you close the dispute the case is closed for Ali and they will not help you again with this problem.

Re: Magene P505 PES Base Spider Powermeter
Coming back on your builds @TinyDinosaur, does it also work with a 2by crankset, i.e. 2 chainrings?
I suppose they would need to be 3 bolt as well?
My idea was building a 46/30 crankset with the riro cranks.

Yeah, I wouldn't know why that would not work. And indeed 3-bolt chainrings. You could look at the senicx branded ones.

Re: Magene P505 PES Base Spider Powermeter
That's very helpful. Is it correct to assume, that in a 3bolt 2by setup with the PM, the chainrings would need to be "one piece"? (as opposed to my experience with original Shimano 2by chainrings).

Yes, or you could use a spider adapter, but I guess 1 piece will be more conventient

Re: Onirii One I would just ask my money back... Looks like they were not really honest and lied about the bar until they had your money and now want to send you a different one they have in stock...
I had the same happen to me when ordering frames (different seller)... They told me they packed the frame with a different size handlebar and asked if it was OK to send because otherwise they would have to redo the packaging.... Of course I declined.

This looks like exactly the same handlebar that was supplied with my Hygge frame and you can get them for way cheaper on Aliexpress (KOCEVLO is one of them), so I see no need to try to resolve your problem with the seller.

Re: sentyeh HRD 1x11 compatibility 12 speed chain should work on 11 speed components (I did it for a while on my gravel bike). It should even give you crisper shifting on 11 speed.

Re: SP-Cycle M06 build thread
Nice
I got mine too snd just installed the bottom bracket. I was able to just move the sram gxp bracket in by hand. Is this normal or did i get one of the frames with the bb too wide as mentioned further up?
Im afraid it'll end up creaking rather fast.
That BB shell is too big. I suggest you do not ride the bike like this since you can damage the BB shell if the BB starts moving.
You are better off installing it with Loctite 609 and activator. It will fill the gap.
Read up on using Loctite on BB's before you start using it.

Re: sentyeh HRD 1x11 compatibility
or just buy a Magene P505 crank and nottt the SRAM.
I would avoid the P505 PM / crank combo sine it has a proprietary interface and you will never be able to use the PM on another crank if you want to mix things up.

Re: Best and worst overall quality/value components/tools/gear from AliExpress?
I’ll likely go down that route as well, Senicx paired with the Riro carbon cranks. HOWEVER, I’m a bit hesitant regarding the choice of the old 3 bolt system regarding availability of chainring replacement.
So far all I could find was senicx offering 30-46T chainrings in a 3 bolt spec. What happens if Senicx decommissions it I’m wondering… then you’re left with 1 by chainrings I guess? Or potentially using an adapter to a 4 arm chainring? The latter I only speculate, don’t have any experience.
You can probably use an adapter. Just see if your chainring sizes are offered in the BCD of the adapter you will buy. Or just buy a couple of Scenicx chainrings...  :)
Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but you can not use 1x chainrings in a 2x setup

Re: Panniers, Bike Bags, Stuff sacks, and Saddle bags
I'm looking for pannier bags for my commuter. My laptop is fairly large (16" wide) so many of them are too small. Anyone have any recommendations for large pannier bags?

Not Ali, but I have the Thule Shield Pannier 25L since 8 months and I am happy with them. I put my backpack with a 16" laptop in there
Had the Ortlieb back roller classsic before that for about 15 years. Those are better, but very expensive.
