Re: SP-Cycle M06 build thread
Well I secured the Bb with loctite 609, a lot runnier than I  was expecting but it seems to hold, I will try to finish the built in the next couple of days as I think I have everything I need…

Yeah, it is thin indeed. But it seems to get a bit more voluminous when it sets.
Good luck!

Re: WheelTop EDS TX Full Wireless Groupset (Chinese SRAM)
A quick video of my new TIME Alpe d'Huez 2023 built with the WheelTop EDS TX transmission groupset. Full review after a few rides and tests later.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc!
I already have a alignment tool so I'm trying to find the fitting to screw in the compression plug or at least make something similar out of different threaded fittings.

Here you go: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006193326873.html
But it's not really cheap. You can get the entire assembly for not much more. If it was cheaper I would have bought it...

Re: WheelTop EDS TX Full Wireless Groupset (Chinese SRAM) It looks like the battery (at least the rear one) is bolted on with two hex bolts. So maybe there will be a possibility to replace the battery in an emergence?

Re: L-Twoo, Sensah or 105?
Side note; I like the irony of chinertown convincing someone to buy shimano :D

Well, that is because we have all been there before, tried the cheap chinese groupset and found out the hard way that this is very false economy and you are better off getting Shimano or Sram.

My first groupset was the Sensah SRX Pro and after having spend days (literally days) getting everything to work and throwing money at it over and over, I for one have no interest of going that way again. My gravel bike now had GRX, my MTB SRAM X01 and both my road bike mechanical Ultegra.
If you shop around you can get those components new or as new for not much more than those Chinese groupsets. Setup is a lot easier and everything just works without having to spend entire weekends to get your brakes to work or the derailleur to shift.

Re: L-Twoo, Sensah or 105? 2x11 speed Shimano groupsets are plenty on 2ndhand sites these days... You can get Ultegra 2x11 for 400-500EUR. I bought 2 last year and both looked like new.

Prices for the groupsets new have also declined so if you don't need the latest and greatest you can build a nice bike with 105 of Ultegra for a nice price....

Re: WheelTop EDS TX Full Wireless Groupset (Chinese SRAM)
I have another new finding to share about the EDS TX.

Today, I was clearing up my cabinets when I found an unsed Magene twin connector powermeter charging cable. The design looked sinisterly similar to the EDS TX singular head cable and I decided to plug them on both derailleurs with a leap of faith (similar to the time when I punched buy on TaoBao  :P )

Guess what!? It worked and the derailleurs are charged up full again. Guess I got lucky again with the new discovery. Now I can charge them at the same time with one cableset. Happy days. ;D

Are you in a position to compare the size of the brifters to Shimano ones? I must say this group is beginning to look very nice.

Re: chinese rear gravel derailleur compatibility
Hello, I am considering to build a low cost 1x11 gravel from open mold frame.
For the groupset I am looking for good offers on Shimnao grx shifter/lever, so I would like to ask if someone know the compatibility of any chinese rear derailleur 11speed with grx lever.
Thanks
If you don't need a giant cassette, there is no reason to go for a Chinese derailleur. They will be a (huge) step backwards compared to Sram / Shimano.
Just look for used parts if you want to save some money.
