Re: Experience with Tsunami GR02 Frameset Are you sure it's a crack? Looks like drips in the paint. Can you see movement there when flexing the frame?

I'm looking forward to seeing the reply from the seller, since this frame is quite often recommended here.

I was buying and advising for Og-Evkin too until I got problems and they were not helping at all.

Ah, so I'm not the only one they scr*wed over... OG-Evkin is the company I had the worst experience with of all the sellers / producers on Ali. Just look somewhere else. Those liars and cheaters are not worth getting your money.

Re: Hygge Aero Carbon Frame
Hi all, I am new to this forum, and I am very appreciative that such thing exists to make information about this topic more reliable and easily accessible. I am yet to make purchase of this frame in the upcoming March anniversary sale. Almost all questions I had were answered in this thread, but I am left with the dilemma of sizing of the frame.

I am 175.5cm tall with 82cm inseam. This puts me in the bottom end of size M, but I am afraid that it will be too long and too tall for my posture, even more so given the 18mm offset of the seat post. My current setup is 385mm reach, 540mm stack, 100mm stem (slammed on top of the headset cover) and a 0 offset seat post. If I go with S size frame, the saddle will be pushed 8mm forward to achieve the same position (that is according to calculations based on my current setup) and will have -4mm of reach which is fine as I feel that the current 385mm is a little too long. Will have to use 30-35mm of spacers to get to the same stack height, although I feel I can go lower given the reduced reach. The stem length will remain the same, 100mm. Saddle height is 72.5cm.

This is all on paper in regard to mu current bike, old Cube Agree Pro rim brake from 2012 (ancient, I know :D), and I would greatly appreciate some real-world input about sizing.

Thanks to all in advance!

I am 172 with a 82cm inseam. I have the S and had to use a 80mm stem (slammed) to get it to fit. Because of the slack seattube angle and the setback seatpost (no 0-setback seatpost available) the bike becomes a little longer... I like a more compact position, so I try to keep the reach as short as possible.
So I would guess the S will fit you better.

Kactus lightweight disc rotors selling for under $30 USD a pair. I ordered a pair of 6 bolt rotors for my recent gravel CF wheelset:

Mine have already arrived... 110gr for the 160mm CL version. Thickness is 1.62mm

Re: Carbonda fork vibration I had the same problem with my Carbonda 696. I checked the fork just now, but there was no play in the bottom bearing area. BUT: then I noticed there was play in the upper bearing area.
I tried upping the preload with the top cap bolt, but could not get it tight enough. It looks like the expander was the problem. The spikes on the surface of the expander seem to have become dull, so there was not enough grip and I just pulled the expander up instead of increasing the preload.
I had another expander, put that in the fork tube et voila. I can not get enough preload to stop the movement.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc!
My disc rotors just arrived today. 91.16g for the 160mm 6 bolt version and also measuring about 1.6mm thickness. The standard steel 6x bolts come in at 13.25g for a total of 104.41g per disc. I'm currently using a set of TRP non-floating disc rotors that come in at 113g. I'll be able to shed about 21g per rotor or almost 1 AA battery per rotor! Lol
Used them today on a 125km gravel ride. All is well...  ;)

Re: Winowsports TT-119 - New Disc Time Trial Frameset

Has anyone had experience with other Winow frames or know who they've done ODM work for? I see it being resold by BXT, but no one else, and the geo seems unique to them.

The Hygge Model S is also a Winow frame. You can look up the thread here. There are no problems with that frame as I know of so far (I have one myself).

Re: Converting rim brakes wheels to disc brakes Yeah, if you see what great value you can get these days, I would just get a new wheelset and try to sell the current one. You would need new hubs and spokes and if you can't build wheels yourself you will also have to pay for getting them made.
And they are probably pretty narrow so you could get a wider set.

How much flex does your handlebar have? Does it flex, or is it stiff as alloy handlebar+stem?

I don't put down a lot of watts, but to me it is plenty stiff... You can find this handlebar from Kocevlo on Ali

Re: LTWOO ER9 & ERX - Electronic groepsets
let me know how it goes with the customs. I was thinking about buying that set but am afraid of customs here in BE
I tried it with 2 orders in the previous sale. Both were about 200 EUR and I did not choose the prepaid shipping option. Both orders were stopped by customs and I had to pay extra both times. I had to pay 10-15% of the value, so still lower than what you would have to pay on Ali. The biggest part of those costs were handling cost for the shipping company. VAT was very little...
Customs do take their sweet time in handling the shipment. So you can expect that will add 1-2 weeks to the delivery times. I suspect this is maybe to discourage you from ordering this way... But they probably also just have a lot of work with all these packages.
