Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc!
I saw this light/powerbank and was wondering if it is any good.  I am starting a thought process how to set up my bike packing "dashboard"  and any item that can be integrated together is a good thing.   I've seen a cool power bank with a recording video camera in it and 1/2 thought it would be good to mount on the handlebars to be able to record riding when you are on the road with traffic, plus recharge things.

I can imagine using this for long bike rides. I usually listen to music with bone conduction earphones and within 2 hours my phone battery is below 40%.

Ooh I've been looking for a light/power bank combo, nice find

Actually now that I think about it, mounting it on a quarter mount means you have to angle your holder down and your computer away from you.

I guess it's best to see the product as a powerbank first, bike light second. Though for longer rides or riding in more remote areas, it does have a convenient placement.

Re: Elves Falath EVO 2023 If Elves was giving me a free frame, I'd LARP the $hit out of it on this forum and make all you suckers buy one! Lol

I find the blow back on that frame amusing. I mean, this is a forum for cheap carbon frames and components. If one was truly serious about their cycling, why not buy a name brand frameset and/or bike build? If you can't afford one, well go back to school and get a better paying career! Haha

Re: Elves Falath EVO 2023
As a counter argument, I just build bike and rides them as a hobby, and I will definitely buy the new BMC Teammachine R when the frameset becomes affordable (lower grade carbon and sale season).  However, I can't fight against my DNA, and if I find a cheap and good stuff, I will buy it xD. This is why I have been buying Lightcarbon and Yishun frames

I just ride bikes for fitness and to supplement my strength training. The only name brand bike frame that remotely peaks my interest is the Aethos, but some interesting copycat molds are starting to trickle. I might as well build one of those down the road!

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc!
Is there a Sensah equivalent of LTwoo GR 7 (10 speed gravel groupset)? I can only find Sensah Phi shifters and derailleur but it's road style with 28t max support whereas the LTwoo GR7 goes up to 50t on the rear. The SRX pro is 11 speed which is the only gravel/CX groupset by Sensah?

Here's your Sensah 1x10 gravel setup:

Another option is to run Sensah Shimano pull shifters and run an LTwoo and/or Shimano GRX gravel derailleur. LTwoo uses Shimano current 10/11/12 speed road/gravel pull ratios:

However I'm curious that it says Shimano compatible since Sensah is Sram compatible.

Good catch! There's been rumors swirling around that Sensah would do a Shimano compatible groupset. They already do Shimano compatible shifters, I'd imagine it'd just be a minor tweak to make the RD work properly with the Shimano road pull-ratio.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! 100 PSI RRSkit portable electric pump for $25 USD. I stopped carrying a regular pump and just put this in my back jersey pocket now:

Important question before purchase, did you get a flat already ?  8)

With the electric pump, the nozzle is press on (non-screw) making field repairs much easier. I've had problems with both mini pumps and CO2 nozzles jamming the presta valve and/or even breaking them if not careful. At least from test at home, I'm confident it's a much better solution to carry an e-pump versus a standard pump. For gravel I still carry a canister of CO2 + e-pump, just in case the tire bead breaks and usually because I'm in more remote areas.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! I found more 2x gravel direct mount chainrings. Originally the only one available was the Senicx 46-30t, but it looks like more are popping up. Ideally I'd like some lower gear options like a 42-28t, but it probably won't be feasible since most newer frames are equipped with braze-on FD hangers.

Cruz Bike 46-30t and 48-32t chainrings:

If anyone is looking for Ceramic Speed and Absolute Black knock off OSPWs, this no name store shipped my OSPW in exactly 8 days to my doorstep. Also I do like the Ceramic Speed style OSPW for Shimano, because it has 4 levels of cage retention. All the other designs I've seen on AliEx only have 2 levels. I find it beneficial for the sketchy climbs/descents in my area.

Re: pass quest chain rings ... anyone used them? They're very good quality. I was using them for awhile when I was running 1x on my aero road and gravel bikes. They're higher priced than the cheap AliEx stuff, but the quality is on par with the more expensive western chainrings.
