Re: LTWOO ER9 & ERX - Electronic groepsets If using the silicone grease method to protect the RD cable, has the ER9/ERX groupset gone through enough manufacturing revisions to be recommended (by users on here)? It looks like most of the kinks have been ironed out and if the silicone grease does indeed enhance weather protection, one could just buy a backup battery/cable set off 80 Design Store for $20 USD and the rest of the components should be solid.

There looks to be a few new styles of centerlock disc rotors. This link is for the Bucklos brand, but I've seen similar variations under ZRace, Mana, Ryet, etc. brand names.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! I just hit my first snag on AliExpress. I recently bought integrated carbon drop bars. When I received them, the matte finish looked like s**t, so I initiated the return process. I sent it back and then received a reply saying AliExpress's solution: NO REFUND! I'm like WTF? It was a Choice purchase item and my return should have been no questions asked. Anyways, I chatted with customer service and they said just give it a few days.

Anyways, I've left the dispute open, but if they don't refund me, I'll be forced to initiate a chargeback. I had no issues when I returned a cassette that horribly skipped in the 2nd small cog, so I'm not sure why this is a problem?

Or you can buy a Twitter carbon bike equipped with the EDS TX:

Re: L-Twoo, Sensah or 105? You don't really need a clutch derailleur on a 1x road setup unless you're sporting a bigger road cassette. On one of my road bikes I used a 44t + 11-32t cassette on a 105 R7000 RD with no drop chain issues. I live in a hilly area and it was easy to climb with this setup. If I lived in the flats, I would have definitely gone with a 50t or bigger. Also using something like a 1x Pass Quest aero chainring has beefy chainring teeth. Just make sure to size your chain properly so it's fitted properly.

If you're used to rolling with a 52/17, something like a 52/11-28 or 11-32t will seem easy for you. If you want a lightweight, affordable 1x groupset option, I'd get an Ultegra RD, Sensah HRD hydraulic Team Pro carbon shifters (11 or 12 speed), a RiRo/Racework carbon crankset (the new version) and a Pass Quest aero chainring. I'd stick to an Ultegra cassette and chain if possible for best shifting.

Any suggestions for good carbon stems? Pref light weight

Yeah don't get one. That's one area carbon doesn't have an advantage. An UNO ultralight alloy stem is the way to go. Get a set of titanium bolts to cut an additional 10 or so grams.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc!
Which CS copy would you link it please? I bought a no-name Amazon cage and it was pretty bad. Flexy, narrow wheels, and just poorly made.

I'm pretty sure this is the same vendor as the Sensah Factory Choice store under a different name. I can confirm this is a slightly improved version versus the ones that were selling on Amazon. Though I never thought cage stiffness was an issue on the Amazon version. This one shifts very well on my Ultegra R8000 RD. They were like $15-16 USD a few weeks ago. The only reason I use these is for spring tension adjustability since this is the only derailleur cage that allows 4 levels of adjustment. I wish Shimano would allow higher tension on stock RD cages. Seriously, you could just save weight and do away with the clutched derailleur.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! Kactus lightweight disc rotors selling for under $30 USD a pair. I ordered a pair of 6 bolt rotors for my recent gravel CF wheelset:

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc!
Folks, like Uno stem and Elita seatpost is there any no-brainer handlebar on Aliexpress?
Not looking for integrated, internal routing, flare or even Di2 holes. Just a road bar with flat top.

By far these are my favorite drop bars. On one of my bikes, I didn't even bother to route them internally (just under the bar wrap). I find them stiff and comfortable. They come in both standard and flared drops. Paired with a lightweight UNO stem with Ti screws, They come in under 330g or less depending on the size bar.

Re: Experience with Tsunami GR02 Frameset I'm no weld expert, but it just looks like they over welded the BB joints and did a somewhat sloppy job. Ride it a bit and see if it gets worst, if not it should be fine.

I'd also post on the thread about the GR02 in the Metal Frame sub-forum. Ask other owners of the frame to inspect their BB just to see how their welds look in comparison to your frame.
