Been there, ordered one back in Nov. 2022.   It works well.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! I am joining the club and went ahead and ordered one of these dropper bars to try out on a 29er hardtail build I am building.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc!
Has anyone found pedals that are clones or are compatible with Crank Brother cleats? I like CB Candy pedals a lot and have them on two of the bikes. I am now thinking I will put those on my roadie even because I can't get clipping/unclipping right on the SPD-SL Ultegra pedals after 2 months.
For the road I went with theses and have been happy. (But, I am not focusing on road riding these days, and only rode about 1500 miles on these pedals last year.)

These are the closest I have found to Crank brother pesals:

Re: Overall AliExpress carbon pucker factor? + CLANNAD wheels In Nov. 2021 I purchased close to $1,500 in wheels/rims/spokes from CLANNAD.   I had them build up 2 front 110 X 15mm wheels, + 6 carbon rims.  4, 29er in 2 different widths, and 2,  27.5 carbon rims.  To date, I have built up 5 wheels using 5 of the 6 rims.
Impressions:   The rims weighed the claimed weight.  All the rims are high quality.   Wheel building went fast and smooth and I had no problems getting them to even spoke tensions, the wheels being very true and round. (Some of the easiest wheels I have built over the years.)

One pair of the 29er wheels have several thousand miles of single track and back country terrain on them and they are still perfectly true/round.  The other pair I've been using have around 1000 off-road trail miles on them.   (Main set of wheels I use are 32 spoke, the other set with narrow rims are 28 spoke. Each pair is less than 1500 grams before installing stems, tire liners, and 6-bolt rotors.) (I have also used the 32 spoke set for several bike packing trips where I carry 30+ pound pack weight beyond my 210 lb weight.)

No pucker factor on any of the carbon rims I have purchased over the years.  I've had by far more failures riding super expensive USA carbon road wheels made by well known brands, than I have had issues with any Chinese carbon rims.

Re: Shipping times, Post Covid. Aliexpress stepped in and messaged me that I am qualified for a full refund.   (I'll take this item off my worry list.)  I am glad that last week I ordered another set directly from ZTTO and this order has already cleared Customs.   "zxcvbn Store" has been added to my "bad Store list"  No future sales/orders will go to them!

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! Has anyone purchased this fork?   Any issues or problems?   Weight is a bit heavy, but not too bad considering its price.

Rockshox Sid Ultimate Chinese Clone available? I had my custom 29er hardtail frame spec'd to take a 15X110 boost 100mm travel suspension fork.   On a 2 of my bikes, I have been using the Rockshox Sid Ultimate SL 100mm travel fork, and love this model fork.

I am building up a second 29er hardtail right now and it requires 100mm travel suspension fork to keep the geometry correct.

- I purchased both of my SID Ultimate's for less than $550 and don't want to pay the $800 to $1K current asking prices, so will wait until the winter sales take place to purchase a 3rd one.

Has anyone seen a Chinese version of the SID SL Ultimate for sale on Aliexpress?

Conetop fork, that accepts boost (15X110) 29er wheel, with 100mm travel?

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! Regarding a full suspension Gravel bike, I am not interested because If I want/need full suspension, I would base the bike on a mtn. bike geometry and would want higher BB/crank ground clearance because if I am riding on trails that require Full suspension then I would want a minimum of a 100mm travel front fork and would likely get way to many crank arm strikes with a full suspension gravel frame geometry.  It has become easy to put on some sort of drop bar on a lightweight 29er hardtail and use narrower tires if you want the 29er to mimic a gravel bike, and have a more capable bike overall than a regular gravel bike.  In my lower power old age,  I am opting for a 1X12 drivetrain for all my off road riding rather than a 2 X 10/11/12 set-up.
I have been thinking about purchasing the Lexon Spirit frame and setting it up as a trail/gravel bike.  This frame would probably work better than a full suspension gravel frame and be a lot more capable overall.
