Yo can use the Shomano SM-BB7241 bottom bracket for the R8000 in BB86

Re: Velobuild VB-R-168 Frame At the end, I ordered vb-r-168 58cm white pearl, with handlebar and separated stem (110/440)
Chris told me that weight is 120g stem and 240g handlebar. And the stem is 6 degree. Will see how works.
He told me is going to be ok for send next wednesday... fingers crossed :)

DPD. You don’t view anything in DPD tracking until the parcel is in you area, after customs clearing. Before that, you can track in wxy-express, but note that is a different tracking numbre. You can ask Chris for both numbers.

BTW, I received a notification from the local postal saying that I’ll receive it on monday.. cant wait

I received the package last monday, 1 month after order (18 days shipping), so very happy with the times. The frame looks awesome, acceptable quality and well finished. The paint is better than I expect, the pearl colour in person is beautiful, specially below the sun :).. so in general very happy.
Just two issues, I ordered also a saddle and Chris sent me an incorrect model, and also he sent me a 120 stem but I ordered a 110 one. I noticed Chris, hope he accept to solve it and send me the corrrect ones.
I’ll update in the next days with the finished build and all the details (including weights).

Re: Velobuild VB-R-168 Frame Finished!! All was fine, but the internal cabling thru the stem-handlebar is not easy…at the end looks great. I’ll ride tomorrow to test it, will see how it works.
Info: this bike shares geometry with SL7, but the seatpost has little seatback.. have in mind to fit.

- Velobuild frame VB-R-168 size 58.
- Velobuild integrated stem+handlebar 110/440
- Ultegra 8020-8070
- Crankset Rotor 3D+ 1x (42t)
- Cassette leonardi 9-36
- wheels serenade 45mm (28mm witdth) tubular
- 7,6kg with pedals and bottle cages.

Yeah, it works.
42-9 is like a 51-11 to go fast and the 42-36 is like a 34-29 for climb, so this config is very good option to mount 1x (in my opinion)

First ride today, 40km. Good feeling. The bike is fast and reacts very well, going fast and climbing. I can feel a better control sensation than in my other bike when downhill.. The stem/handlebar help to give me a plus of control an confort (440). The handle bar is top.
Couple of details to fix.. as usual in the first ride, but very happy with the result.

Re: Velobuild VB-R-168 Frame I forgot to share the weight of the frameset, for the frikies of grams.. :)

frame: 1165g
fork: 440g
stem 110: 175g
handlebar: 260g

The stem + handlebar weight is more than the integrated option, but in my case I prefer two pieces.
