We also found that JJJ have the idea of the bolts to solve the problem, really thanks for his help and effort.
But that's would not be our solution and cannot ensure it would be works.

I think I have everything, but 2cm more spacer. Already ordered.
The color is amazing. When you are very close you the blue and carbon are visible.  In the Light it's then really blue. Otherwise it appears very dark. So it's a effect for the rider  ;D.  For chameleon effects I always think it's an effect only others see, but the rider always sees one color.
I already attached frame protectors.. will then start with the routing of hoses tonight. 8)

What do you mean by a "modern" leverage ratio.
How the suspension of this one will work compared to the FM936 if they're buillt with the same shock?

I mean it's not as progressive as one might want. Doesn't mean that it's bad of course.

My take: The biggest difference to the FM936 is not the overall progressiveness, but the way the progression changes throughout the travel. The FM936 is more progressive in the midstroke and basically linear at the end of the stroke. The FM909 is linear at SAG point, then becomes slightly progressive in the mid stroke and more progressive at the end of the stroke. Now air shocks generally lack progressivity in the mid stroke and are very progressive at the end of the stroke. Also, with volume spacers you can even increase the progressivity at the end of the stroke. But you can't really change the mid stroke. And so with the FM909, those similar characteristics enhance each other, making it more likely to fly through its travel and offering less mid stroke support. With the FM936, the opposing curves add up to a more linear overall lev ratio, giving more mid stroke support. The lack of bottom out resistance can be countered with volume spacers.

But please take this with a pinch of salt. I could be wrong :)

I have no comparison to other "modern" bikes tho, so I'd be interested about your opinion comparing it to the other 3 chinese carbon frames.

Still haven't got any good photos of it yet.

Sons new Carbonda fm909. Christmas new bike day.  FS xc race bike.  He races Nica and a few other series and events.  Has bee on a motobecane hardtail the last few seasons.  Hopefully this serves him well.

Re: SVChucko's Seraph/TanTan FM10 build Lots of progress tonight. I tapped out the factory-installed upper headset race without incident, and pressed in the race that came with my ZTTO headset. I installed a Cane Creek Helm II fork, temporarily using a 70mm stem and an old Titec Pluto riser bar. The stem may stay, but I will definitely need a wider bar.

I got a set of take-off SRAM Code RSC take-offs for a good price off eBay, from a bike dealer in SoCal. I mounted the calipers, but the rear caliper bolts are too long for this frame. I need to find shorter bolts.  I already had brake rotors (203mm front, 180mm rear). When I tried to install the front rotor, 2 of the 6 bolt holes in the Goldix GDX 370 front hub stripped before I could get them up to torque! I've complained to the vendor. We'll see how that works out. The rear hub didn't have that problem, fortunately. But now I need to replace the front hub and rebuild the wheel.

I mounted the ZTTO 11-speed cassette and Sensah derailleur and shifter. Routing the shifter cable housing and the rear brake hose was a hassle, but nowhere near as bad as I'd feared. I won't cut either to length until I have a handlebar.

I took an old seatpost and measured the insertion depth. I came up with 160mm (this is the 17.5" frame). Looks like my best bet is a OneUp Dropper V2 150mm. I may not be able to use all the travel, but I can shim it down to 140mm. That's more travel than I can get with any other post in this frame.

After months of staring at a pile of parts, it's starting to look like a bike! Still a long ways to go, though. I have to buy and install some cockpit parts (bar, saddle, dropper post, pedals) and a chain, and rebuild the front wheel, before it'll be rideable.

My intentions are not to spam this thread with my photos. However, I finally received my VeloBuild 38mm wheels after a two week delay courtesy of my local postal service  :( . The Hyper 65s I originally had on the 177 are for my Winspace T1500 which I will be building up this weekend.

1. They are pretty heavy. 1778g for the pair. For comparison sake, my Winspace Hyper 65s weigh 1610g. Lighter yet significantly deeper wheels, but also significantly more expensive. You could buy three pairs of VB wheels for the price of Hypers. Just something to consider...

2. Specs are tubeless clinchers with the tubeless tape already installed. 25mm external, 19mm internal. The wheels come with valve extenders, but sadly no extra spokes or tubeless valves. Standard Novatec hubs. I've used these hubs on my Yoeleo wheels and they are perfectly fine.

3. This is the final "form" for the build. Without power meter pedals, carbon bottle cage, or Garmin mount...final weight is 8kg

I'm working on my official video review of the build, but for the price and weight I have to say it's a lovely deal. The light weight carbon of the 177 offsets the heavy wheels in my opinion, so basically you're getting a big-brand quality frameset, handlebars, and wheels for under $1000. Add your favorite groupset and you're looking at a setup that would probably cost almost double in price from one the main brands out there.

PS - the gold chain is from OG-Evkin. I probably own about 8-10 different components from them. They offer solid value for the price.
