ZTTO 9-42 11-speed XD cassette failure warning
So today my ZTTO cassette decided to self destruct... All of a sudden, while crossing a busy road, my crank was spinning but the rear wheel was not. Seems the smallest 3 cogs had separated themselves from the rest of the cassette. All the pins had failed. Luckily the rest of the cassette was more or less in one piece and I could finish my ride without using the 3 smallest cogs. Shifting was horrible though and the chain skipped on some cogs. I had no idea why until I took the cassette off the rear wheel when I got home. Not only the smallest 3 cogs came loose, but also in a few other places the cassette had come apart. I bought 3 of these cassettes and not one worked very good or long. But this one was the worst. I don't know the mileage exactly, but I guess this cassette maybe had 3000 km. I now replaced it with a SRAM GX 10-42 cassette. Needless to say I expect a much longer life from this cassette.   June 09, 2023, 12:22:15 PM |

I do not know if other interfaces have the same issue, but would assume they do. Sigeyi claimed they have asked for this model to not be advertised together, but sellers continue to do so. got this new launch from IGPSports, the BSC300 for around USD 120 https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/1005005670708376.html seems a great deal considering the features... colored screen, full map for navigation (although it doesn't reroute if you go out of route), 8 data fields and a lot more details I'm currently on a Bryton 420, about 1.5 yrs using it, it works great and has all the features I'm comfortable paying for - being totally honest, because getting upgrade on screen size or mapping jumps the price a lot and then it's out of budget for me IGPSport somewhat divides opinions, some people have a great experience and some had the worst possible. What I seem to gather is that for the cheapest most affordable models they work really well and with few issues, but the more feature heavy and expensive stuff they had some issues overtime, and especially the app is bugged but my impression is that they're evolving a lot the past year or so, the old igs618/620 series had bad reviews but the igs630 seem to have improved a lot. Same with this new BSC series, the 100 and 200 have been around for some months and have good reviews, I just hope the 300 is similar

I like these RXL bars. I'm running the flared version on both my 1x and 2x road bike. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804815422658.html I just wanted to do a long term follow-up on this hollowed out crankset. After putting quite a bit of time riding with them, I think I can recommend them at this point. I believe they're the lightest non-carbon crankset on AliEx coming in at sub-500g. I've tried them on both a threaded BSA alloy frame and now a pressfit carbon frame (with built-in alloy sleeve) and I have remedied the creaking issue associated with these cranks. The trick is to trash the M5 hex screws that come with them and replace them with M5x25mm titanium screws (preferably grade 5) which can handle far more torque. I believe after 7nm the stock screws will strip. With the titanium screws, I have them torqued up to 9nm and made sure the entire assembly was well greased. On my current PF carbon gravel frame, it's been very smooth and quiet. Just keep in mind your own body weight (I weigh sub 70kg) and how much wattage you're putting out. I think for 1x gravel applications they work great, since they cut significant weight, direct mount chainrings are plentiful on AliEx and they aren't too expensive if you crash your bike and damage them.
