Re: Juin Tech GT-F brake calipers (dual piston)
Not sure I understand, it is better to look at Onirii then?

There are multiple design iterations, at least with Onirii you’d be sure that you’re getting the latest one because they detail the differences in their product listings on Taobao. That being said, I’ve never bought or used anything from them so take what I write with a grain of salt. I don’t know if they actually perform well or not.

Regarding the versions with exposed pistons, it seems like that was actually the 2nd generation design done by a company called IIIPRO who produced them until Onirii took over the project.

StefanB:s LCFS713 - Ruopsok 1382 Here are some images of my Light Carbon LCFS713 bike in size M.

This is my 6:th frame and build from Light Carbon and I am very happy with the quality of their products.

The LCFS713 frame is from 2019, replaced with the LCFS947 2021 and of course I have built a LCFS947 as well.

But I like the lines of the LCFS713  and the reach is a little shorter, maybe more suitable for women (my wife). This is the first frame i ordered painted from Light Carbon and i think they have done a nice job.

Re: Titanium bolts StiffWeenies already mentioned the brand called Risk from AliExpress and I can only recommend them.

I started to replace the rusty bolts with titanium ones sold by them. I am using their chainring bolts for over a year and their headset bolt for 6 months now without any problems.

My only complaint is that their packaging is too fancy. They send the bolts in a metal box which is padded with form fitted foam. In my opinion it is just too much waste. I would have been perfectly happy just receiving the bolts in paper bags. :)

Re: Questions about disc brakes
Thanks for the repys so far. I will watch the Vids today in the evening.
At first it is not about the costs, ist about the thing to build a Bike not using any Parts from the big brands.

There are no Chinese hydraulic brifters and flat mount calipers currently on the market so you have no choice but to source those parts from a big brand. If you're willing to give hydromechanical a shot, there are some promising options on the market. Just make sure you pair it with good quality compressionless cables as that's what makes or breaks mechanical and hydromechanical braking performance.

Unfortunately, there are no credible reviews of these products apart from the Juin.

Re: Recommendations for a carbon saddle?
I doubt that they will remedy it. I suspect they fall into the "you get what you pay for" vendors or AliX.  I almost feel like the 100kg claim is more of a 100% chance of failure rating.

My crack hasn't gotten any worse, but then it's been on the indoor trainer since December.  Also, I've dropped 8kg, which probably helps.

I will probably patch mine with a little carbon fiber and call it a day.

Let us know if they get back to you, and if you buy a replacement or get a different saddle!

I think There is a big misconception of vendors on Ali express and people don't even contact the vendors they just assume wont get an answer or the problem solved.... Up to this day everything i had problems with was replaced by the vendor at no cost for me .....A friend of mine broke a carbon rim due to a big impact on a rock (Clearly out of Warranty). After sending them photos (the goal was to have a discounted replacement) they replied saying they would replace the rim. Another had a cracked integrated handlebar (replaced at no cost), broken Seatpost - Replaced, Cassete problem - Replaced.....list goes on... I guess it depends on the vendor reputation, but the majority nowadays dont want to risk bad reviews.

Re: BXT MTB 056? Size L frame (I didn't weigh it Mea Culpa), GX AXS groupset, X1 Dub crankset, carbon wheels fitted by me with internal 29mm Light-Ride rims (there I have my rear gravel wheel in the meantime  to change the ratchet on the other), Sid SL Select fork, 80mm/740mm carbon handlebar-stem combo, SRAM level ultimate brakes, Elita One seatpost and carbon saddle.
Weighed at 9.25kg, the assembly was very easy and the frame finishes are very clean.
I haven't been able to test it properly yet, I'll come back to give a more substantiated opinion but for the moment I find it very nervous, no doubt thanks to its oversized bottom bracket, the geometry is great, you feel well centered on  the bike, and the rear triangle seems to filter vibrations well, which is very pleasant.
