Re: L-TWOO RX 2x12 road groupset In a comment on this Bili video, Sensah themselves have confirmed that hydraulic braking will come in 2022.

I imagine hydraulic braking will be paired with their existing mechanical groupsets for the time being. Electronic shifting still feels rather far away imo and there is no guarantee of great implementation such as the absolute dud that was FSA's K-Force WE groupset. In any case, expect to hear more news in May at the upcoming bike show.

Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts Whew!!! All 131 pages thoroughly read! The 936 has been high on my list of potential frames, but the hardware quality has been a bit of a booger, IMO. I did some digging into the other brands using the frame and came across this on the Vitus page: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0365/1272/7173/files/RapideFS_Metric_Spare_Parts_Kit_External.pdf?v=1630512037 It's a superb breakdown of all the pivots, hardware, bearings, everything in the 936 frames! Hopefully, it will be of use to those of us in need of replacement hardware.

Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts
Thanks both of you! I was aware that other 165 shocks are all the same. I just wasn't sure if the proprietary nude changed something that effected that or what size the spacers were. Thanks for all the info!

I think I will go down the same route as you ilyamaksimov. I too would like a little more sensitivity at the beginning. I'm also intrigued by the reduced travel traction mode.

By the way, I drilled a hole for the cable))

(Adam didn't ask for the front triangle to be cut when the new one was shipped under warranty last year, so I have room to experiment)

Re: Any chinese frames using high modulus carbon like the real Specialized frames?
UHM or high % of HM / UHM fibers generally isn't desirable anyway, as it produces an incredibly stiff, brittle frame.  The really lightweight stuff usually uses less material and a mix of T700 & T800 or equivalents, but because they use less material they're often rather noodly and flexy, like the Aethos or worse the O2 VAM.

Dizo is interesting due to the dyneema ... It should make steerer failures much less likely, as well as shock absorption properties.

Also I'd never heard of Dizo ... They seem to be operating in Japan but made and designed in TW.  Any more info about them? The Epic Pro is also the only frame I've seen where they show a visual representation of how Geo differs on all the sizes.

Dizo is the in-house brand of Advanced International Multitech Co., Ltd. The Epic Pro has been shown for a while now but there is no indication as to when exactly it'll be available. Ultimately there is still next to no production capacity because factories are preoccupied with fulfilling orders for big brands. For example, BLKTEC is basically dormant because their factory is Trigon who produce components for Pinarello's MOST and Shimano's PRO.

And you're right on the stiffness aspect. The point of using stiffer material is not to create a stiffer frame but rather to meet the same stiffness targets while using less material.

Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts Any news of my 936.
In use and abuse since august 2019, the main pivot become a bit loose probably due to tired bearings.
During maintenance there was also a very little play between rocker arm and frame.

After change in static it seems to be back to normal, not tested yet.

I think more than 2 years with the factory bearings is not that bad, none of them was seized by the way but you must consider i avoid riding too much in bad conditions.

Re: Yoeleo G21 - Yoeleo's New Gravel Frameset
Just curious, where did you get the groupset from ?
No shop I usually buy from have any in stock for weeks/months.

I find solid deals locally on FB or eBay pretty frequently. The key is jumping on them as soon as they are listed.
