Re: Epic Evo Clone
what bearings(MAX or not) are used in the frame? what quality are the bolts and axles?

I don't think they are MAX type bearings, but I do think they are of decent quality. Some of them are stamped "Japan". All hardware is also decent quality.

Re: LightCarbon 918? Wheels are built and everything is ready to ride.  Total weight is 23.5lbs.  The light carbon graphene rims make for some seriously light weight wheels.   Together with Pilar spokes and the Venfort hubs I am at about 1270g.  Super happy with this build.

Best grams/$$$$ upgrade has to be all the titanium bolts. Hahahahaha.  I know it is a waste but it is also the most fun part of any bike build.

Re: LCFS947 - 160mm 4-bar 27+/29 Winters are long here in northern sweden so i did some more cad work.
This came to be because i could not use my fidlock bottle holder with my oneup pump mount. The bottle needs to be able to twist to release and would hit the pump.
My design puts the pump lower out of the way. And then i got to thinking it would be fun to "even out" the design with something on the other side of the bottle holder. So i put a little box there that fits two co2 cartridges, but it can hold other stuff aswell. It is designed to fit the downtube quite snuggly, just enough room for some padding material.
I printed it in carbon fiber reinforced nylon but could be printed in abs or some other strong filament.
If anyone is interested i can upload the files!

Re: New Lexon spirit He converted it using an aftermarket kit. Lexon does not make a Scott Lumen equivalent yet.

Re: New Lexon spirit
Just so I understand, did you take a normal Lexon Spirit and convert it to an E bike or do they make an E-bike frame?

This Spirit manual bike was converted using a motor kit I had from a prior project and a self built battery, eventually this bike will receive a much lighter and less powerful motor system and lower capacity lighter battery.

Re: FM1001 / FM1156 - 135mm frame Finally first ride today, some minor adjustments to be made (brake lever angle, saddle position, one more volume spacer for the fork) but that's it. Bike feels great, size is perfect for me. Suspension also feels very good.
If anyone's interested in final specs, I can add those.

One honorable mention, SRAM is now taking care about the plastic, everything is in cardboard molds.

Re: Spcycle 2023 New Travel 120mm Super Light 29er full suspension frame
So you want a short travel trail bike not a lightweight xc race bike?

I honestly don't want either.  The fact is this bike frame has 120mm of travel which already pushes it out of the "XC race" category.  spcycle can cater to a far larger market if they had one frame that would satisfy both the XC and light trail duty requirements.  All I am suggesting is shrinking the seat tube can make the design far more flexible and capable.
