Re: Spcycle New Mold G068 Carbon Gravel Frame The lack of in-frame storage and the choice of an adventure style fork with a bunch of bolt holes are both big turnoffs.

The hunt continues.....

Re: How addictive is bike building?! I'm not a fan of the actual building, but pricing out potential builds has become a hobby for sure.

Full sus bikes seem to have the most issues just because they have more moving parts and more "holes" that need to be within tolerance to work well.
Lots of people happy with them though.

Re: GCN just reviewed Sava How is it bullshit to call the cockpit that has zero adjustability, terrible ergonomics and is clearly even more of a pain in the ass to service than even a regular fully integrated bar, bad design? Explain to me, in detail please so my simple bot intelligence doesn't make the wrong conclusions, just how this design is not objectively unappealing from a user experience standpoint.

Re: Bang for buck hydraulic oil, brake cleaner, assembly grease etc I recall reading not to use the automotive brake cleaner on bike brake rotors because it leaves a residue that doesn't get burnt off at bike temperatures like it would on an automobile.

I recently used automotive electronic cleaner to spray out my suspension bearings and clean off my hub ratchets.  It cleans off the grease and flashes off really fast.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! Anyone has decent front and rear racks located in China? Ideally something similar to the tailfin or the ortlieb quick rack? I tried to ping some sellers letting them know I have a few potential interested buyers and they did not seem to care. Sometimes they have such a lack of vision to listen to the market ... Same as with the (lack) of endurance frames.

Saw it there, remember you being very positive about the er9 when I ordered mine. The fact that they die without a reason is terrible. What reseller did you use?
Find the official store on ali bad in communicating. 80 designer store was a bit more expensive but atleast some kind of service there

Yeah i went from loving it to WTF is this?
I bought the groups via Winow, and i dont think Terry is a good professional. He seems like a nice guy, but he's at times elusive, slow, evasive, vague, it's extremely irritating. He clearly cares about himself, but he doesn't seem to care about our problems.
I since had a look at groupset prices in Europe and they're still insanely expensive, it infuriates me. I understand that SRAM prices are very attractive in the US, but that's not the case in Europe.
I kind of want half of the cycling industry to go bankrupt to clean everything up. A 10k bike was never worth 10k, let alone 15k. Groupsets shouldn't start at 1000 eur.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc!
What do you mean warm out of the box? Heating up fast? The cutesliving store has a pair for 38€ during sale so I'm tempted but I'm afraid those rivets might fail like tracevelo has reported on his - they weren't kactus but the rivet looks very similar. Price seems a bit steep if compared to the zrace that goes for 10€/pair and there's no claimed figures to compare them
By the way the CD-01 are way overpriced in the last link, it can be had for 1/4th the price in other stores

Here is what coffee break told about them:

https://chinertown.com/index.php?topic=3627.45

They are the same ones as CD-01 and maybe he got some faulty ones but either way, due diligence.

Re: Awesome Pricing on Rival Drivetrain Stuff The biggest hurdle for me will be my wheelsets all of which are Shimano HG type freehub and I don't know how many of those can be easily converted to SRAM (or on the cheap).

IIIPRO ROTORS I bought these IIIPRO Bike Brake Disc rotors, the rotors do not brake as they should, I bedin them for two weeks, cleaned them, pumped the brakes, changed the pads (sram code rsc) and nothing helps, the rotors brake very poorly by their own, after these I installed TRP and Shimano rt66 rotors and they brake well
