Re: III Pro PEERAGE 4 brakes - piccola clone
Yeah. I'm very interested in your impressions. I also wonder if they perform any better then the other IIIpro or Zoom 910.
I have some of the zrace x2s right now and will only be using the levers (not the calipers) so I can cut some grams so you will not get a review of the calipers but only the iiipro levers with the zrace x2 calipers. The IIIPRO calipers are the same as the zrace 4 pot ones.

Re: Chinese cycling clothes Just wanted to check back in after riding my Swiftofo "triathlon suit" with "Italy Miti" pad:

It's alright. It checks the basic boxes of what I was looking for: pockets, decent pad, ribbed/aero textile. The pad, as I suspected (and hoped), is not a triathlon pad but a proper road pad.

The only knock I'll give it is the neck is just a bit too loose, when I really tuck it starts to crease/lose tension a bit. Everything else about fit on my suit is pretty much dead-on so I just think the design needs adjustment.

Value for money I would say is 4/5.

Panniers, Bike Bags, Stuff sacks, and Saddle bags I want to get a dedicated thread going to review and discuss available carrying of your gear for Bikepacking, Adventure cycling and Bicycle touring.   I want to keep this thread to items that are used to carrry your gear on your long multiday rides.   - Panniers, Bike bags, Stuff sacks and saddle bags.    Aliexpress lists and sells a lot of different items in this category.   I am always looking for the lightest, most durable, perhaps water proof, and best bang for the buck.

For this years planned trips, I am trying to remove more weight and am looking for the lightest durable gear packs I can find on Aliexpress.   (Perhaps other brands outside Aliexpress, if they are affordable.)

I am hoping other forum members will have some good recommendations for bags you have purchased and used.

I purchased a set of Rhinowalk panniers over a year ago.  They have held up OK, on 3, week+ trips, but they are already showing signs of wear, and are having issues.

I purchased and use one of these NEWBOLER saddlebags for overnight trips.

I have purchased numerous sacks off of Ali express.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! From that pick 3 deals or choice page I have bought numerous $2 bar tapes, especially the ones made by Racework - they are superb. I was expecting them to go bad within a couple of months and since they are so cheap I was going to change them frequently but they held up so well and I am sitting on a bunch of brand new tapes in various colors  ;D. The last relatively expensive bar tape that I bought was a Shimano Pro for $20 ish. Days of buying Fizik or anything are long gone. These $2 bars are as good. The only thing they lack is the finishing tape that's almost worthless. I just use black electric tape to finish the tape.

Edit - Riderace not Racework.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! Just got a pair of Stone 110R2 chainrings delivered. These are the absolute-black style rings that are milled out on the outboard side. Really nice rings imo. They look shiny and tumbled to me. Favorite feature is that the female threads for the chainring bolts are integrated into the inner ring, not sure why (it’s not like there’s a clear advantage, maybe weight savings?) but it feels extra premium and lightweight.
