Re: Alternative for blipbox Thanks!!.

But i have to update the info above as sram seamingly did the unthinkable and just enabled the sram blips to function as a standalone shifter.

https://bikerumor.com/sram-wireless-blips-can-now-be-paired-w-o-shifters/

It enables some serious potential as the circuit boards are really small.

Re: Hygge Aero Carbon Frame I finally built the bike and take one week of riding on a trainer, everything work nice, no creaking or clicking, seatpost doesn't slip despite the fact that I did not use grip paste and cut seatpost so clamp doesn't contacted with grippy coating.

The build was relatively easy, no stuck cables or bad threads, calipers and bottom bracket are align.

But there was a several nuances during the build:
1) Sharp edge where cables exits from handlebar (under the "stem" area), not enough to cut housings, but enough to scratch them and make routing process more difficult. So i sanded it.
2) Expander plug fit in steerer tube very tight and i can't extract it without tools, so i sanded some material from plug. But i think, this is plug problem, not steerer tube, because expander plug from my old bike fits with no problem.
3) Stuffing four housings in headset pressing ring was real pain in my ass, there is enough space for them but no more than that.
4) Computer mount, which comes with handlebar is flexy, and I'm afraid it might break on bumps. Here some video only with garmin edge 520

And with 200g bike light
https://photos.app.goo.gl/h3aWyDJYAE5Yg76n8
So I'm looking for more rigid computer mount.

But overall it's a good frameset, it's stiffer in bottom bracket area than my old Jamis Xenith Race (2014), handlebar shape nice and comfortable, laser decals looks amazing.
Final weight is 7.685 kg with pedals, bottle cages, computer mounts and sensors, I took into account all the components that are attached to the frame.

Re: LTWOO ER9 & ERX - Electronic groepsets finally pulled the trigger yesterday. 330€ without maybe customs was too temting. Has anyone replaced the breakpads by now and can say, if there is a shimano alternertive? and if yes which model does fit?

Re: dcrf26 frame - Scott Foil?
Any more long term reviews of this frame? Can pick one up for around $500 USD with the current AliEx sales. I want a stiff bike to race crits. Wondering if this will fit that bill.

2.500 km on mine. As much as I like this bike, I can't recommend this particular manufacturer - as in Sequel Sports. As I wrote in this thread earlier. User Frank and me we both had forks which looked very unclean inside and were not round in places. The RD cable exit port on my frame was very rough inside. Rough to the point that I had to properly go about in there with a file to put the cable through. The seller's reaction was very telling in that they didn't acknowledge the problem on neither Frank's frame nor mine, saying that all their frames were like that. So if you buy there, you're definitely taking a big gamble with regards to QC.

With all that said: I like the bike. I like the way it rides. I think it's plenty stiff. I think I answered that question already in the TT-X38 thread. We were all posting there for simplicitiy's sake, since it's the same frame. And if you want this frameset, I'd say rather buy it from Tan Tan. It seems their quality is more consistent. Though there are examples of this frame from Tan Tan where the upper headset bearing was sitting too loose.

Re: LTWOO ER9 & ERX - Electronic groepsets Was doubting but with the sale i've got a full ER9 group with Zrace rotors and Senicx crank for 500usd. I'm racing these bikes, curious how ER9 will react to the Belgian kermesse races ;-)

Re: LTWOO ER9 & ERX - Electronic groepsets I also picked up the ER9 during the sale. Price came out to $350 USD with tax once I stacked it with $80 off coupon + coins. I decided to upgrade the rest of the drivetrain in the process so I picked up a 12 speed Goldix 251g 11-34t cassette and Senicx 52-36t chainring. I also picked up a pair of Fovno 12t POM jockey wheels for good measure. I noticed the cadence jumps on the 12 speed 11-34t matched the 11 speed 11-32t in the high gears and with a 36:34t low gear ratio, it'll match my current 34:32t 11 speed. I figure it's one of those scenarios where I can have my cake and eat it too! I've already ordered a set of high quality 14500 batteries and I'll probably pick up some dielectric grease from the auto store later on for insurance. Fortunately I have two road bikes, so I'll convert one to the ER9 and keep the other one mechanical Ultegra just in case.

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D) Hello everyone,

a short update on my experiences with the LCR017-D in combination with the Elite Edge 45 mm.

I have just returned from my 1-week training camp in Mallorca and after almost 1,000 km and thousands of meters of altitude, I am more than happy to have built this bike.
It just feels right and is a true all-rounder.
At the front in the wind in the group on the flat - up the mountains - down the mountains. There is nothing to complain about.

Here are a few pictures from Mallorca.

Re: Supersix / Soloist / Addict lookalikes in 32C in 2024? I find Lightcarbon LCR-017 to look really similar to the SuperSix.

As for the Xlite, I like Yishun R-068D:
