Or with the Sigeyi power meter: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001610276169.html?spm=a2g0o.detail.1000060.1.21407718DSiMjz&gps-id=pcDetailBottomMoreThisSeller&scm=1007.13339.291025.0&scm_id=1007.13339.291025.0&scm-url=1007.13339.291025.0&pvid=3a31664b-9584-47c6-aa29-4022fe311d4a&_t=gps-id:pcDetailBottomMoreThisSeller,scm-url:1007.13339.291025.0,pvid:3a31664b-9584-47c6-aa29-4022fe311d4a,tpp_buckets:668%232846%238114%231999&pdp_npi=3%40dis%21USD%21482.79%21381.4%21%21%21%21%21%402103246416866521913423919e4785%2112000016800648650%21rec%21BE%21768088907 The zrace crank and sigeyi powermeter that I purchased (sram 3-bolt) has a design flaw that broke the waterproof seal of the powermeter and ruin the board. I do not know if other interfaces have the same issue, but would assume they do. Sigeyi claimed they have asked for this model to not be advertised together, but sellers continue to do so. Attached is an image of where the crank arm touches the power meter. June 14, 2023, 12:21:03 PM |

Re: Chinese cycling clothes
I have a pair of aero socks from ykykw. After about 20 wears the silicone seems to not be as good and it does not stay up on my legs too well. Could also be that I have hairy legs lol

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc!
I purchased an IGPSport IGS630 off of Amazon on a great sale this past November. To date, I have been pleased with it. (I still don't see the IGS630s for sale on Aliexpress.) It has good battery life but here are the problems I dislike about mine. 1. Response time to display incline/grade: My unit seems to lag behind the actual grade of the hill I am climbing. Often takes 5-6 seconds to recalculate and display the grade changes. (I will have ridden past a steep section of a climb before it displays what the grade was.) 2. On really steep climbs, often 20+% grades, I may have to walk or can be pedaling at around 2mph, the computer stops recording, after 20 to 30 second it will stop recording, and/or turn off until I go faster than 2mph. 3. There are almost too many features and screens on this model. It is prone to me pushing the wrong button and accidentally deleting the current ride file, or creating a new lap. I suppose I just need to study the manual more and commit to memory what all the buttons do. June 15, 2023, 12:07:53 PM |

Re: Which chains is everyone using?
I'm on Tiagra 4700 10s here so not the usual 11/12 speed groups which are more common around the forum (here in Brazil groups are really expensive so I'm still holding on the upgrade) I'm starting to lean using 11 speed chains on my 10 speed bike (GRX 400 equipped) and 12 speed chains on my 11 speed road bike/s. More gap leeway between cogs and shifting overall feels smoother to me. There are fakes everywhere, I might be running fake Shimano chains for all I know! Oh well, they're running decently so far! Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc!
I just ordered the IGS630 from Ebay, since they're not available on AliEx. I figure for a little extra money I might as well get the additional features. Plus buying it locally I have the option for free returns if it doesn't workout. I'll report back once I receive it. Compared to the next cheapest units which are Bryton or lower end Garmin, the IGS630 seems to pack quite a bit of features for the price.

Re: Chinese cycling clothes
In winter time I've bought one of the seamless Darevie bibs. The chamois is more in the thinner side, the padding is medium hard. Since the chamois is always very personal... I like the thinner style, so I am fine with this. The Lycra fabric is nice, but it's definitely a thin summer fabric, the sewing quality is good. The leg finish is nice, the silicone grid inside is very broad, which I like. I did some 100 miles rides on Zwift with it . The legs were my largest problem. Just found this amazing item on AliExpress. Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc!
Onirii released an Aethos clone The link doesn't seem to work. If it's the Aethos style frameset, they've had that on there for awhile. What's new though is their aero road frameset that the Mongolian cycling team is using. The first 10 orders receives a free aero suit. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805504151232.html? Re: reccomend me 380mm non-integrated aero handlebar
What I found so far: Currently using Uno 380mm round alloy handlerbars, they are now also available in 360mm https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004667823835.html If I want to go aero alloy, then 380mm Prime Doyenne from Wiggle https://www.wiggle.com/p/prime-doyenne-aero-handlebar more expensive and heavier probably 350g. Everything on AliExpress is wider 400mm and heavier over 400g OE-EVKIN for CF round bars in 360 and 380mm https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001069341353.html SERAPH 380mm at hoods, 400mm at drops, CF and aero https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000768089212.html RYET 380mm at hoods and drops, CF and aero https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004789998307.html ps should of mentioned that as a ride a smaller frame (prefer my weight over the front wheel) I end up running a longer stem, flipped (only a few degrees) so integrated bar and stem is really out. Would drop my bars by over 45mm, I do have limited flexibility and could not ride a bike with 45mm of spacers (even if they would fit) June 22, 2023, 11:28:13 PM |
