Re: TFSA Carbon Frameset Build-Up Sub 400 for the frame is impressive. Ali shows me 470 + shipping right now, did you negotiate or you were just seeing a lower price at the time? (Ali also changes offers & prices per geography).

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! These IIIPRO brakes seem copies of Juin Tech F1s at less than half the cost or am I missing something. From the photos, the finishing looks better on Juin Tech's listing though.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! Both IIIPRO and Tanke brakes linked above are very old designs, 05 is still the newest for now

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! Same. Ordered a pair of black Onirii BR05. All my recent purchases from Aliex have arrived within 2 weeks even though the delivery estimate said a month. I actually ordered Tanke earlier but canceled after reading up on it here. Thanks guys.

Re: Cyclami TPU tubes - more TPU tube options! You can still use extenders on these tubes. You just leave the valve unscrewed put the correct extender on and pump up. Having an extender on this way makes it harder to get exact psi.  What happens is the pressure while pumping opens the valve then closes after pumping. This will even work with minipumps.

I take off my extender after inflating and tighten the valve  because the stem barely sits outside my rims. If the stem is hidden you have to leave extender on and valve unscrewed.

Re: Riding shorts/ bibs / Knicks These Darevie shorts are the best I tried so far, even for very long distances: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001622154194.html
I'm a fan of Spexcel, but after some poor experience with shorts, just the jerseys and jackets.

Re: ZRace Disc Brakes Another update after a 50km MTB ride and a 130km road ride with 1500HM...

I changed the pads in the front to metal and this also has made a very big difference. Still very happy with the BR-05 brakes :)

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc!
I find my interest in AliExpress parts has started to wane. I do like the carbon components, but other than that I still would rather stick with name brand drivetrain parts even if I have to wait for discount sales or buy used domestically.

Same here. Prices have been going up a lot. Now they have to charge VAT to the EU, that didn't help, but on top of that, prices are often so high that you can spend virtually the same amount buying from a legit european online bike shop. Very disappointing. Aliexpress used to be cheap stuff that usually worked, sometimes didn't, but if it's not cheap anymore...

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! Not Aliexpress but close, eBay. Is this a good price ($20) on 11s Shimano HG901 chain?

Sensah CRX Pro 11-Speed Hey folks, relatively new to this forum, but thought I would share an article I put together about my experience with the Sensah CRX Pro drivetrain.

https://www.experiencedgear.net/home/crxpro

Overall, I think its a pretty good buy, and next steps are to test the system out with a more ergonomic shifter from either Shimano or Sram, as I believe the cable pulls between all three should be the same.

Anyways, I'd love to know what folks think and what we should do differently. Additionally, if there are other items/products that we should be looking at.
