Re: Yishunbike R1058-D Well, today I received the first pictures of my frame, paint job was done by Yishun and don't ask how I got them convinced to do so ;)
Unfortunately I am not able to upload the pictures as attachment, so here are the links to my drive.

Design was inspired by: Pinarello Dogma F Framekit 2023 Disc Electro Violett

I will share the complete build somewhere end of January when frame has arrived and I will share my first thoughts and more pictures while building as well.

If you like, I'll be happy to create a separate thread for the build, with decent pictures and what the riding impression is like.

As it's a pretty wet winter here at the moment and I'm working until dark, I won't be able to start the first test drive until next weekend at the earliest  :'(

Re: Yishunbike R1058-D Finished the build this week and took it out for the first spin today. Feels stiff and responsive without being uncomfortable. Fast on the flats . Really solid overall and pleased with it. The build went pretty smoothly, was a bit of a nightmare internally routing the handlebar however it wasn’t a Yishun one. There was a very small amount of paint overspray on the rear calliper mount that I sanded easily and was fine .

Re: Wheels upgrade didnt realize they were on aliexpress! cool! Can be a good way to get subsidized shipping.
I think i have the 30mm wide 58mm deep rims from memory. Equally capable as road wheels (we've used them as such too).

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D) Recieved my frame today. Initial inspection tells me all is well.
Frame wise all seems well.
Material tickness around headset area is spot on, bearing seats are, well... REALLY clean.
Derallieur hanger and wheel axel mounts are as expected, ie clean and no paint spill.
Overall paint job is immaculate, did mine in glossy pearl white with LC logos.
If there is interrest, I can post pics after build is finished.

Lightcarbon build LCR015 Decided to build a backup bike for my wife. Rear brakes were a pain but everything else went together perfectly.

Re: VeloBuild VB-R-268 frame Double 268 build coming up (when I get the groupsets (105 Di2) and wheels). One 54 cm in Silver Chameleon (for a friend) and one 56 cm in Blue Chameleon (for me), both with black contrast color on the inside of fork and rear triangle. Really pleased with the quality of paint job, no air bubbles, trapped dust etc.
