696 owners, is it just me or is the toe overlap awful? Yes, can confirm that issue. I'm ~180cm (5′ 11″) and have 43 shoes, 172.5 cranks and 47mm tires. Frame size is 54. Carbonda CFR-696 (Flybike FM696) Gravel Frame
We don't seem to have a dedicated thread for this frame (and its variants), so I'm starting one. Carbonda resells the Flybike FM696 as the CFR-696. ( https://www.flybike-asia.com/product/155.html )This frame is also sold by numerous other brands under various names. Some have different forks or bottom brackets. I'm told Flybike will do variants for a minimum order of 30 frames. Not quite common but i've seen two "microbrands" selling gravel bikes with Carbonda/SpCycle frames, nothing wrong with this, the problem is they're labelling them as "Made in Italy"

Sensah hydraulic gravel groupsets now available.And you pay 60 euros/dollars for 1 speed more while all is exactly the same, except probably a 11s vs 12s ratchet in the shifter. The marketing guys of sensah are good to move to sram

this is kind of the "warehouse ready" items from Aliexpress, stores/vendors send their items there and then it's ready to ship fast also selling prices well below their own stores because it seems to potentialize the sales volume, it must be some negotiation with Aliexpress that to be on that store they need to lower the price at least X% it has pretty much all categories of items, and the products that appear for each people is different (cookies and all), that's why the other users cannot find it it's easier to start from Aliexpress home screen and enter the 'Choice', 'SuperDeals' or the 'First come 50% off'. It's normally mostly from this 'Manufacturer direct store' or something, but usually good deals there This seller has a lot of cycling items for much cheaper than the official stores. It's a darimo copy of IX2 stem, design, claimed weight are the sames. With darimo products if it's not broken by overtighening at 3,1 n.m (when you know it only slips if not at 4 n.m  ) during installation the question is when will it break. Polling the crowd here. If you were asked What does the VB-CX002 resembles the most? What would you say? Picture courtesy of their website. Resembles an afterthought to me. Looks like they're trying to make something from the spare parts bin. Tubing from the generic open mold aero frame (e.g. LCRXS-D) with a few little geometry adjustments and a bit extra tyre clearance and call it a CX bike. Unfortunately they've missed the mark by a country mile with the super steep headtube angle and that seatpost looks way too stiff for anything but smooth tarmac. Apart from racing, I never really understood why anyone would choose a cx bike over a gravel bike, but this wouldn't cut it as a cx bike in my eyes. Not even close. this is popping in a number of topics these days, lots of products increasing in price by absurd amounts\ it's just common practice all over Aliexpress to prepare for the 11.11 sale. Products on Aliexpress are always with some amount of discount, it's always like 30% off over some 'stock' price which is never really practiced, or like 10 days a year tops. soon it should be back to normal... also another user pointed out that China is currently in Holidays, back next weekend, and the increase could be to discourage buyers, reduce order amount for a moment, and let them rest these days. But honestly I don't think it's that, in my experience normally with long Holidays the website or the seller just extends the shipping time, covering their absence. Through chinese new year for example (february) the website normally advises that shipping will take 1-2 extra weeks due to holidays.

Bro chill out. Fuck UCI, this sticker means nothing even if it is original. It tells nothing about the quality of the frame, it's not like some iso certificate or something. In order to get it frame producer, just needs to pay to this greedy organization and the frame dimensions need to be within UCI rules. They don't care about the quality, just about their rules. There is BOTH a Cervelo logo and a UCI logo on the frame now. I love gravel and I have no love for the UCI. What is the point of adding both BOTH logos on your own? October 06, 2023, 11:06:53 AM |

Regarding the Aliexpress app. I don't want to put a Chinese invasive app on my phone. I am sure there are ties back to the Chinese government. I am sure they are tracking you... All these apps are invasive. I think you'd have more to worry about from the likes of Meta and Google. Though I don't run the AliEx app because it's such a bloated memory and resource hog.
