Re: Ryet wheelset?
Google for any brand with the words "exploded rim" and you'll find some.
Personally I've seen Bontrager and Roval similarly exploded wheels, as well as some of the lightbicycle ones I helped to buy.
It happens, it is the way carbon fails. The most important is the warranty you get when this happens.
All the brand above honor it.
Looking forward to see how Ryet is reacting to that.
I get that, but the amount of bad reviews on AliX is too high percentile wise relative to the amount sold. Particularly keeping in mind that there is a time limit for leaving a review.

And in most cases the resolution mentioned is that Ryet ask for postage payment on a replacement wheel.

Its the classic case with chiner parts of QC, warranty, support etc, but I don't see the point when you can get Elitewheels etc for not much more.

Re: ZOOM HB-910 - another trickstuff clone dh & enduro Another minor update.
Found the lever bleed port screw to be way over torque.
Rounded the 2.5mm hex, so had to 'adjust' it up to t10 torx using my mallet. (Works fine now)
Also not sure what oil they've put in (pink tinge colour), but was a chunk heavier than my lhm+ I re-bled them with.
I.e. wouldn't even mind in the syringe, and separated immediately to the bottom.

Lever throw is really good now, not short or too long, but smooth and consistent with loads of usable reach adjustment range.
Just gotta bed in and see how they run.

Re: Ali express disc brake pads, recommendations
I tried the yellow Swiss stop on my road bike last year. The best right ? 8)

And not that impressed by their cost/braking power, I came back to my beloved pink Elite Cooma:
https://alphabicycling.aliexpress.com/store/group/Elite-Brake-Pads/1513091_10000001152730.html
I put them on all kind of bikes: road, gravel, MTB and e-bike.

+1 for the pink Cooma. I also use the golden ones. The pink are a bit more friendly regarding sound.
To me the pink ones are better than Shimano Resin. Originally I tried them because the Shimano pads were largely not available during the Corona time. Now I am not going back because they are really good.
The color is a slight problem, but luckily the dust covers them quite good.  ;D

Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts
Did you check that the diameter of your seat post is precisely 31.6mm ?

I haven’t, it’s a fox transfer SL therefore I can assume it’s ok!  ;D ;D
Anyway , at 7nm seems to be fixed. Thanks man

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! You're in luck because that was something I omitted - it does now have rerouting I just missed it, "Auto Back on Track When Veer Off Course"

Must have gotten over my head because this is personally a feature that pisses me off like nothing else does. I've always wanted to chuck my garmin in the river when their masterfully-designed to be annoying beeps come in the moment you take the smallest shortcut, I really hate rerouting

Re: Avoid OG-Evkin Official Store on Aliexpress I was a little worried reading over these comments as I own a stem and handlebar from OG-Evkin.

About a month or so ago I went to overtake pedestrians when I felt a crack through my bars. The last 15 odd km home something felt off, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

Got home and found hairline cracks in the stem face. It was out of round where tightening the face plate over the bars spread open the face.

I contacted through AliExpress and where I had a bit of a screw around from their customer service. They required me to take a photo of the internal manufacturer sticker which was deep in the throat of the stem. Ended up using an extendable mirror.
I then had to purchase a $1 item from their store page, and to my surprise they sent through a brand new stem. This one is 10-15g heavier and is much more stout. Seems like I was 'lucky' in that it was a batch issue.

No issues so far, but I've only put about 50km on them

Re: Carbonda FM909
Ouch I hope they will be back to you in any case because 2000 km are not enough to justify those cracks

The official warranty for the frame is 2 years and it ended 4 months ago. But Carbonda looked at the photos and decided to send me a new rear triangle for free and even paint it for free
