Re: Velobuild VB-R-168 Frame
I drilled out the cable stop so it could pass the wire and it worked pretty well. I seems to get a lot of water that comes in to my frame when I wash it and have a feeling it may be that hole so will probably plug it with a small rubber bit soon.

Thanks, I figured that would probably the only real option barring some sort of custom 3d printed cable stop. I'll let you know if I figure out some solution for the water ingress.

Re: Electronic devices
Have to stick to Garmin when I want accurate power and don't need routing, and Wahoo when I need routing.

BREAKING NEWS !!
It looks Karoo's power meter drops issue has been finally solved in the last update.
I tried my 3 bikes, each a different power meter, and they all came back after a break.

Re: VB-R-168 Build- A sceptic's experience I just received my VB (separate) stem and bars. These will replace the integrated bars that are currently on the bike. First impressions are that they are stiffer than the integrated bars. I will update with pics/thoughts once I get this combo installed (which requires re-routing cables through small bar spaces ::))

Re: Velobuild VB-R-168 Frame Wheels are Hunt 4 Season All-Road. Very nice budget wheelset for this type of bike. 20mm wide internally.

Tires are Vittoria Terreno Zero 32c setup tubeless.

This setup has seen shit.  ;D

Re: Velobuild VB-R-168 Frame Anyone with the separate bar/handlebar combo...

Can you please provide photos of how the internal cable routing works from the handlebars into the steer tube? The photos on the website aren't exactly clear. Is there a cable opening at the center of the handlebars, where the stem bolts attach?

Thanks...

I recently switched from integrated bars to the bar/stem combo. The stem has a hole through it and the back of the bars has a small slot for the wires to go through and then on the underside is where they would route out to connect to the brakes. I was not able to route my cable through it as it was so tight and my cables were already cut to size. I explained this on my thread (VB-R-168 Build- A sceptic's experience). Hope this helps.
